I have always had small breasts, but whenever i was pregnant with both of my children, my breasts increased significantly to about a D cup. I was also larger because i gained an average of about 50lbs with both of them but lost if after thanks to breastfeeding. I breastfed them both for almost 2 years each, which really decreased any kind of volume that I once had (which wasn't much). Any way, I went to a plastic surgeon near me a few months ago and had a consultation. He asked me my goals and at first I said that I wanted to look natural, but larger. I really had in mind that i wanted to be a small D cup (in Victoria's Secret and we all know they like to say we are larger than ee really are) so likely I'd be a C cup in any other kind of bra. I'm pretty petite though. Here are my measurments:

5'3"
117 lbs
11.5 and 11.9 base width.
He says I'm at a 32 A... Which is probably more accurate than what Victoria's Secret says I am (32C). He suggested that I go on top of the muscle because he believes I have enough tissue to cover the implant, it will give me more of the natural look I'm wanting since the natural placement of the breast is on top of the muscle, it will give me more upper-pole fullness, and recovery will be less intense. I have done A LOT of research and although there are pros and cons to over and under the muscle, I feel like I trust his placement decision. My only dilemma at this point is what size I should go with. He suggested Natrelle Inspira srf 345 at first because that is what matches my base width, but I'm very concerned that will be too small. I really don't want to regret not going larger, so i talked to him about a srf 415. It has a base width of 12.5 which is an entire centimeter wider than the base width of one of my breasts where-as with the other, its only about 1/2 of a centimeter more. I had him order the 415cc, and then after I continued my research, I became concerned that I may be going too wide just to get a larger size. I have looked at a lot of srf 415 before and after photos, and i really like the size of them. But like I said, I'm concerned that it may be too wide for my frame and it won't look right. I called my surgeon on Friday and talked with him about my concerns of the 415 being too wide. He said that he feels i should consider going to an srf 365 with a 12cm base width. I agreed and he said he would also order those and i can decide the day of surgery. I think I will just tell him to use whatever he thinks will look best while I'm under anesthesia. I guess I'm just curious to see if any women have gone an entire cm over their base-width, and what their results are. Hopefully I can get enough responses before Friday!
