I am a 45 yr old, mom of five beautiful children. I stand 5'7" and weigh in at 138. I'm an a avid fitness buff and equestrian. All but one of my kids was a ten pounder, my tummy? Do you need to ask? The girls? Well, they moved out after number four and they haven't been seen since!
So, I find myself hoping to reclaim those parts of my body that were lost during my mommy years. My husband is very supportive, and my doctor, while not the flashy, glitzy type, seems very trustworthy, kind and patient. He will be restoring the girls with 350cc silicone implants, suturing my spread muscles back together in my lower abdomen with a mini tuck, a using lipo to help get rid of those "flanks."(Even the word "flanks" sounds bad doesn't it?)
I have prepaid for my surgery, now I'm just a terrified mess of "oh no! What have I done???"

5 days pre
Six days..... And then (gulp)
I have been getting things ready, I am totally wanting to get this thing done! After spending time looking around the internet I came across a Texas physician that gives really specific massage instructions for post op BA. He even has an app for his video tutorials! Has anyone been told they need to do this?
I have also signed up for a three day local anesthesia that will numb my mid section and hopefully reduce/eliminate the need for pain killers those first few days.

Tomorrow !!! I think I'm ready! I spoke with the doctor on the phone yesterday for some last minute questions I had. So grateful that he took the time.
I'm juicing and pushing water today, no solids as I don't want to deal with constipation discomfort.

Day of treatment
Hours....
Well, it's the morning I've been both anticipating and dreading! Will check in at 7:45 and hopefully see the couch at home by 3 pm. I'm nervous, but mostly about the anesthesia. I'm getting a 3 day local pain block that will cover my entire surgical area- that should be very nice! I took my final before pics last night- will attempt to upload them from my hubby's iPad.
Next time I'm on here, it will be over and done:)
Catch y'all on the other side!
