Here is Day 10 & 17. Healing nicely. No one can tell unless I say something. No regrets... it's been very easy to recover from. Too bad more people aren't aware of this procedure!

I am 53 and I am a PA who owns a medical spa with my husband who is a physician. I have had lip fillers injected by plastic surgeons, nurses and even myself and have always had the dreaded duck lip. The lip shortening surgery is exactly what I needed and Dr Cho did a lovely job. Now for the healing!

Thank you. I'm extremely happy so far! I think he measured me at 1.7 before and excised .6 to bring me to 1.1. I will double check this at my follow up to be sure. I know my lip was long enough for filler to migrate to the mucosa side of my upper lip which extended below my teeth. I could actually feel it there like a ridge!

Your lips look more symmetrical now. Did he remove more skin from the right side (left in the photograph)?
