Hi all the ladies looking for answers to there questions. Well just like many of you I have had my silicone implants for 14 years. The reason why I have decided to have them removed is because I have had lots of neck and head pain for over 2 years can't say it is the implants, however over the last year or so one was rather lower and smaller than the other and I noticed when lying down that you could feel a fold in the implants. I had an MRI scan which showed nothing to worry about. I knew that the time was coming to looking at doing something with them and was always worrying if they could have ruptured as not even an MRI scan can detect this. I found this site and found lots of answers to my questions. To be honest it was a big decision to make weather to have them replaced or not but deep down now I am older and have my family I just want my health and not boobs. When your young you don't think like that, although I had mine from a confidence reason and only my husband has ever known and lucky for me he is fine if I have small boobs. If I knew then what I know now I would never of had them. They are a life time commitment with money and pain that no one seems to tell you about at the time. Well the day of my operation has arrived. Not as anxious as I thought I would be. Didn't go down till 5pm so was starving. Came back to my room at 8pm to see my husband and beautiful daughter waiting to see me. I was quite shaky for some time and was sick a few times. To be honest the pain wasn't that bad and I didn't ask for pain relief till 6am. All the nurses were great and were making me tea and toast during the night as I was hungry and couldn't sleep, not because of pain probably just unsettled. I was meant to leave by 10am but my cosmetic nurse Fiona said I should stay till early afternoon as my operation was late the day before and didn't want me rushing home. I had my dressing all changed and then went home. Will keep you posted

Hi everyone. Well after returning home things seem to be going really well. Not had a lot of pain think it's worst sleeping in a bra and on my back which I don't like. Bra seems to dig where I had my drains removed. Breasts are still swollen but look pretty good in a bra. Better then before my implants. Would be nice if they stayed that way. Well I don't feel like I have any regrets just want to know what my real breasts feel like and want my health back now I am older. Am going back to the Spire Wednesday night for check up so will keep you posted.

Little Mynx... Well done! You look amazing and I'm sure your results are going to be fantastic. If you don't mind could I ask whether it was your decision to have a lift or did your surgeon suggest it? Its one of the decisions I will have to make and I'd love to know your thoughts etc.. Thank you for posting, sending love x

Hi jo my surgeon said it was up to me and said i had very little breast tissue and that i would have alot of excess skin. I have looked at lots of photos on this site without a lift and they don't look nice. If you can afford it i would definitely have it done. I want mine to look as good as possible as im not naturally big anyway. My surgeon didn't push me at all just told me the truth about each outcome. Hope this has helped. [RS bleep]

Thanks 'Little Mynx' that helps loads! I have so many decisions to make and like you, I don't want to have any more surgery/revisions in years to come. Thank you for replying x

What an amazing and beautiful difference! You look so gorgeous. Hard to believe we did what we did only to have to undo it. I hope I look as good in one week. My day will be Thursday to see the results. God Bless

Hi all, well I had my first review after my surgery at the Spire Little Aston. PS seems really pleased with how they look. PS says he left about a quarter of the capsule in both breasts as I started to bleed to much and lucky for me I had no bleed or rupture from the implants so feel so blessed that I had them removed now. Need to buy a different bra to encourage swelling from the side of my arms to move to the middle. I am so pleased with the outcome so far. Am so glad I chose to have a breast uplift at the same time as I would not want to go through the operation again and think the worse part is not been able to do a lot of things especially as I am an on the go person. I will post some more pics when I have a new bra which I will be getting this weekend. It is a really hard decision for all you ladies who are thinking of having implants removed but I found this site helped me loads. I do think breasts look better if you have a lift. I know it costs more but if you have the money it is well worth it and don't think you will feel as disappointed with your results if you get a good PS it makes all the difference.

I'm super happy your results/outcome is so wonderful. Your new natural breasts are absolutely beautiful. It makes me more excited to get my surgery done and over with as I keep going back and forth whether I should do the lift as well which I actually have scheduled for 1/14/15. It seems as if most of the ladies just do the explant without the lift. So it's refreshing to see your results and even better that you're happy with it. Happy healing.

Yes I would go for the lift if you can afford it as you can only get better results from this especially if you have a good ps. Good luck with your surgery [RS bleep]

Little mynx, thanks for your response.l and input. I do have the lift scheduled but started having second thoughts. My PS seems to think I will have better results as well.
