Almost a year update!
Hey guys, sorry I hadn't posted an update earlier, very wrapped up with life.
So the flakiness, and darker color lasted for a week and then the color was nice, but I loved the fact that the tattoo made my lips a little "larger" so I could trace my lip liner pencil where the tattoo was and it made my lips look slightly larger. Even to this day, even the color faded so much next to natural again, it makes all the difference because I have more shape and slightly more size to my lips. If I could do it again, I'd get my whole lip filled in with color.

Im 22, always wanted to distract from the size of my nose by emphasizing my other features, and love the look of nice lips. I have big lips to begin with but the lip line blends into the rest of my face. My go to makeup item is my lip liner so I wanted to be able to wake up with nice lips .
Injections don't change the color of lips and I wanted more color, because just lipstick makes a big difference on my face. It was obviously painful since lips are the most sensitive area on one's face but the local anesthetic helped alot, still , being a massage ball to squeeze. It's pretty dark after she did it, like a dark ring around my mouth probably because the color I chose was pretty brown, but she said it will fade about 60% or 3 shades lighter

She was very sweet and outgoing , spent almost 2 hours discussing how it will turn out and what to expect , helped me choose the color and draw the border. Warned me of the crazy turnouts she has seen on other patients, and showed me pictures of other clients who had it done. Being of a darker skin tone I was a little concerned but you are never 100% sure about how a tattoo can turn out. She did charge me extra for having "big lips" which in my opinion was stupid because she was just doing the lip line...
