It was a no brainier for me to know what I need to do! Every time I looked in the mirror I would just cry, my bags under my eyes were so bad I would avoid going out in public whenever I could... I looked up Plactic Surgeons, Dr. wheeler stood as the best! My first impression of Dr. Wheeler was very professional, and that is always so important to me. If I am not feeling it in the first appt. I walk away, but halfway through my appt. I knew this was the Doctor for me!

How did he do the cheeklift? Through the eye?

To be honest, I am not sure. He made incisions under my bottom lashes, and I believe he just pulled up the excess skin and then he removed it. Unfortunately I did not take before and after pics. Dr. wheeler has some, I could request that he post some. I did sign a release for that. But I have no regrets, my eyes are totally flat!

Hi! How long did you experience (minor) lower-face swelling - from natural drainage or whatever..from the cheek and bag work?

I (not from WA) just had the same procedure done as you.. it appears (lower_bleph + fat_xfer + cheek_lift) a mere 6 days ago. At this point I continue to be highly optimistic about the results. The only annoyance at this point is the lower-face swelling that is temporarily (i presume) aesthetically destroying the LIFTED appearance. When I left surgery I had swollen "cheekbones of the Gods" - which I sorta liked. Now, I have only the very slightest since that upper-cheek swelling is mostly gone..but it has migrated to my (unoperated on) lower-face. Hence, giving the impression little work was done. Doc filled my massive empty tear trough amazingly though.. and it was a BAD case.
