I've been wanting this procedure for over 10 years.
I tried the whole "self love" thing for quite some time, with little success. So after doing some self and life evaluations, I decided it is time to stop waiting, stop lying to myself and go get this done. I'm tired of being unhappy and hating what I see in them mirror. I want to be happy.
On April 3rd I had my first consultation with Dr. Buchanan. I had spent a long time doing research on Realself and other websites, to find that I liked his work the best. After the consultation was over I went home and spent the next 2 and a half days doing everything in my power to secure a loan and get financed for this procedure.
It was a rollercoaster but this morning I got approved and secured my date. It's on the 20th, only 2 weeks away! How lucky am I?!
I'm thinking that based on my size, what I want to be and what I have seen other women my size go with, 375 cc high profile silicone (under muscle) is the best route for me. (For the volume I would like to achieve, Dr. B said I'll have to go with either high profile or ultra high profile. Projection won't make too much of a difference, maybe a few centimeters at most.
I'm in the process of gathering my recovery supplies at the moment. So excited!
