Keeps getting better

WORTH IT$30
I have not had a pimple in quite some time. I’ve been leaving the house without makeup for the last 3 days and I haven’t done that since I was a child. Highly recommend this treatment. You definitely have to be patient.

Hi! How long did it take for u to see a positive change? I’ve just started 5 days ago and purging like crazy. Making me want to stop this completely. I’m on 100mg daily
Please don't give up! I think it was around month 3 that I stopped breaking out. I've never exceeded 75mg doses daily and I started out at 25mg. I'm still taking the spiro to this day. There's a few times I stopped taking it for a few weeks and my skin went crazy. I promise it's worth the wait if you're not experiencing any other uncomfortable symptoms.
You have to wait 4-6 months to actually see the effect. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.:) Been using it for more than a year now. But now, i’m on a low dose maintenance. 25mg/day.

Started Spiro Jan 25th 2019

I started 50mg of Spironolactone and Azelaic acid 15% topical gel Jan 25th. Shortly after, I had a period and broke out as usual. By early March my face started clearing up significantly... but I knew that another period was approaching so I braced myself... and I got one pimple. Just one on my chin that I extracted and it was gone the next day. To this day, I have had no significant breakouts. I also want to note that Azelaic acid is the BEST topical I’ve ever used for acne! Here’s an after pic!

This gives me so much hope! I plan on starting once I am done breastfeeding. Same story to yours my skin was so clear during my pregnancies and once my period came back all hell broke loose! Have you had any side effects like lightheaded or dizziness?
No lightheaded ness or dizziness. I did experience fatigue the first month that I was on it but that went away! If you do start on it I suggest you find someone that takes the conservative approach and starts you in the lowest dose first then gradually ups it. Good luck!

Spironolactone and Azelaic acid RX for acne

I’m just gonna skip past the part where I tell you everything I’ve tried for my acne. If you’re reading this I’m sure you’re in the same boat as me and nothing is working. I’ve had bad skin since 7th grade and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. I’m now 26 and the only time I’ve had “clear” skin is when I was pregnant or breastfeeding. After having two kids back to back and finishing breastfeeding I almost forgot that I ever had bad skin. I got a non-hormonal iud put in and off I went back into the world of painful, cystic acne. I had dealt for this for close to a year before I decided to try spironolactone. I had very high hopes that this would work for me because of the telltale signs of my acne being hormonal. Ex: location of my acne being mostly around my mouth, chin and lower cheeks... being acne free while pregnant/breastfeeding... and acne being worse right before my period, slowly clearing up between periods, just for it to break out horribly again when my next period came. I’ve posted a “before” picture. I apologize that I’ve got makeup on...I was at work...but it’s pretty obvious what I was dealing with here. Now just imagine a lot more redness and dark marks if I took that full face of makeup off.
