The time has flown by and I think it's probably fair to say that I've almost forgotten what it was like to have that massive tummy, all that excess skin - it's only when I think back, that I remember how bad it made me feel at times. This time last year, I was starting to think about the surgery and I'm so glad I did.

I've seen a number of negative posts about my surgeon in here - my experience was nothing but positive and I'd recommend him every day.

I think it's important to remember with this procedure, one of the main reasons we have it done. That awful stomach, hanging down, visible in our clothes, baggy tops in the gym - I'm just getting ready to go to my spin class and caught sight of my reflection and smiled. ??

Hi there I am booked to see surgeon at spire bristol for book reduction and tummy tuck. Possible open on 25th Nov. What are the reasons for fleur De lis tt? I have seen a surgeon who didn't mention it so perhaps I don't need one but would.still like to know. You look amazing and can't wait for my date. As you say, you get fed up with looking down at your belly sat on your lap lol
Sorry boob reduction!! Predictive text ahhh lol
Hi - you'd have to take the surgeon's advice - obviously - as I'm not medically qualified! But from what I understand, it is recommended when you have a lot of loose skin around your middle as well as around your stomach. I had little or no tone at all - he said he'd have no hesitation recommending the Fleur de lys.

Scarring is an issue with this op - but I wasn't bothered about the scarring to be honest - it's 6 months down the line now and the scars are not bad at all. So, I'd ask the question. If you're the same as me, maybe you'd be a good patient for the same.

If I can help further, please let me know.

Astonishing the difference the surgery has made. It's only when I see the old pics of my stomach, that I realise how good the surgery turned out. 6 months ago, there'e have been a stomach hanging onto my lap - now look. Anyone in the UK looking for a surgeon, please do seek out James Murphy.
