Well were to start .... I'm 33 years old and Iv always been blessed with larger boobs , Iv been up and down with my weight and also had a child so in size Iv fluctuated from a 32dd to a 36f over the years. Although my boobs were large they have never been the firmest even when I was 18 , Iv never been able to wear anything without a bra. The last couple of years have been the worst as Iv got older and am maybe a bit slimmer my boobs were completely empty , they were really low and just had lots of empty skin you could grab at. I was becoming really concious of this, going on holiday and wearing a bikini, they would go all wrinkly were the skin was so empty.
Iv never thought I'd ever want surgery like this but I started looking into it a couple of years ago and doing some research, I have quite a few friends that have had things done like this to so I started to ask them more details and seriously consider it but I was scared to death.
I decided I was so un happy with them to take the plunge so I did a lot of research online and I narrowed it down to 3 surgeons I was interested in. I went to see Paul Clarke at transform, Gary Ross at Alexandra in Cheadle and James Murphy at the spire. They all told me similar things in what I would need, an uplift with a small implant to fill the top out. I read in a lot of reviews before hand that people knew when they found the right guy and I did not get that until I met James Murphy, he stood out by miles for me, it's just his whole approach, he's the loveliest guy ever, totally professional and clearly very clean tidy and organised , his consulting room is very OCD tidy which I loved and he is completely honest about what's realistic.
He is also not bad priced , to me it wasn't about the price thou, not that I'm rich but if I was going to do this I was doing it properly.
Anyway I decided to book in there is no sales or pressure unlike at transform where they do try to sell it to you he just tells you to go away and think about it. I later chickened out but then a few months later after lots of consideration I got back in touch with sue his receptionist and booked back in. Sue and the team that deal with appointments and booking etc are also amazing , super efficient and really friendly, they make you feel like you can ask them anything as I did have quite a few questions .
I was so nervous before it , the day came and I was completely petrified , I arrived at the hospital and was shown to my room , mr Murphy came and had a chat with me about how the day would pan out and then about an hour later I was off down for the surgery .
I woke a couple of hours later with fantastic new boobs! The pain is quite sore for the first couple of days but it's actually no were near as bad as I thought it would be it does hurt a bit moving and sitting up and stretching for stuff, but for the first week I just took it completely easy and really rested. By the end of the first week I wouldn't call it pain it's just more uncomfortable and for me that never sits still just a bit frustrating wanting to move about and get more stuff done. I would deffinately make sure you have no real plans for about 3 weeks after.
It's now 4 weeks later and my scars are already looking amazing , I have a friend that had exactly the same done as me but at somewhere in Leeds a couple of months before and her scars are horrendous, the whole advice and care and everything could not be further from my experience so if your considering this don't book in with any old place that's offering the best deal you really have to research it , I am so happy I did I honestly could not be happier.
After 4 weeks my scars are so fine and my boobs feel really natural still they are amazing ! I can actually wear stuff with no bra, I'm going on holiday in 10 days and have actually lived trying on my bikinis it's such a difference I just wish I'd of done it sooner!
Just to point out aswell, two of my friends have been to James Murphy for similar things and are equally pleased plus my friend used to work for his reception team and also could not speak more highly of him .

It was brilliant to read a recent review. I have booked my BA with Mr. Murphy for June 23rd. Same as you as soon as I met him I knew he was the surgeon for me. Glad you're healing well xx

That would be amazing if you don't mind. He did the 3D imaging thing at my first consult, just as an example and my eyes popped out my head haha. Xx

Hiya! I'm looking to book in with James Murphy, just waiting for my second consultation however as I have asymmetry and need an uplift I really want to make sure I have great aftercare in case I don't get the results I want as I have a lot to correct! James emailed me and said he offers 12 months cover and doesn't cover for Capsular contracture if you have natrelle implants however he offers other implants (he didn't say the name) that do have CC cover.... I'm really wary of spending £150 on my next consultation if he only offers 12 months aftercare as this doesn't seem much at all! Do you mind telling me what aftercare package you have received with him / spire? A girl I know went to Newcastle Spire and she has lifetime aftercare with her surgeon :/ thanks in advance for any help :) X

Wow that's amazing, he has done such a good job! He said no matter what he does with me I won't have a natural cleavage as I have quite a large gap between my breasts, about 4.5 cm. He said he can narrow it to around 3cm but not get rid of it. I'm not too fussed though cos a good bra can give me a cleavage I just want boobs haha xx

I forgot to ask what implants did you have. Still can't believe how good they look x

He's so honest which I thinks great too I wanted bigger but he wouldn't do it as he said it would just make them drop having uplift to , he asked me to leave it to him in surgery to see what size fitted best giving the best shape and he put in 190 inplant I think , it's just a small inplant on the top middle part that Iv had X
Scars are minimal already too il post a pic X
