WORTH IT
Hi there after much debating I decided to share my tt experience as reading everybody else's has been such a great help and support before and after my surgery I am 31 years old with 3 boys aged 13,8 and 3 I pretty much did most of the damage with my first pregnancy when I was 17 where I gained about 7 stone the other two didn't really effect the damage but then after my third and final pregnancy I lost 50lb which finally made me start to give serious consideration to having the procedure done I was fed up after 13 years of looking at my body and feeling like a mutant! I had my surgery on 16th of September so I am now 11 days post op I had a full tt with muscle repair no lipo as my surgeon said I didn't need it I am 5ft 3 and my weight fluctuates between 10st 3 and 10st 7 they removed 4lbs of fat which I was pleased about i found the recovery so far very similar to the c section recoveries except the muscle tightening makes it a bit more uncomfortable coughing is pretty painful haven't braved a sneeze yet! I haven't found the experience any where near as bad as I'd imagined it was gonna be it is more uncomfortable than painful I went for my one week check Wednesday and got my first look at my tummy which nearly made me cry to see something that resembled a normal stomach had to have some fluid drained with a needle which wasn't very nice but needed to be done. I had my tummy tuck at the spire hospital in harpenden by mr sojitra I only went to one consultation which I was so satisfied with as all my questions were answered mr sojitra was honest and realistic about what I could expect he is very calm and also very confident which I found reassuring and on the day of surgery his calmness made me feel less nervous after seeing him I didn't see the need to confuse myself with any other consultations so booked my surgery the very next day i would also like to add his p.a Teresa is so lovely couldn't wish to have a more friendly caring person looking after you at your pre and post op appointments I can't recommend these two enough to any one in Hertfordshire considering a tummy tuck. So far I am so pleased with my results and excited as they get better over the next few months I am very swollen at the moment which is uncomfortable at times but I'm resting as much as I can I'm very lucky my partner has had nearly two weeks off work and has taken great care off me i couldn't have done this without his support I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone without a good support around them coz the first week u can't really do anything it was all my effort to get to the toilet and back but I'm feeling better by the day I will keep updating and any questions are welcome.

Can I ask you a question. Has it smoothed out some of the remaining stretch marks as I have some over the belly button and was told they will look less noticeable. X

I'm having mine done in Prague on 24th Nov - tt and Vaser lipo - was going to have a boob job too but the surgeon decided it would be too much for my body all at once considering the medication I'm on. I think it's wise to do it in 2 steps, don't you? They did say I would be ok to fly back to London (I'm too in Herts) after 4 days but I decided I wanted to stay longer for 10 days. When did you have your drains out? X
September 30, 2015
Hi I didn't have drains i asked my surgeon not to use them as I'd had them with one of my c sections and found then uncomfortable luckily he was happy not to use them, I'm not to sure about the boob job being done at the same time as tt a lot of people do although i can't imagine being restricted with movement and having pain in both areas would think it would be pretty hard going I wouldn't advise trying to travel home after 4 days I only had a 30 minute car journey to get through 3 days post op and that was enough for me I think you've made the right choice waiting till day 10 what do u do about after care once your back in the uk? X
