I felt my face was looking tired. In particular the hollows under my eyes. I tried dermal fillers but I think that as they absorbed they left my face looking even worse than before. My surgeon recommended a fat transfer. He took fat from my knee area and injected a small amount into the hollows underneath my eyes. The results are fantastic! No bruising and it looks very natural. My face looks younger and fresher.

How much fat did dr injected under each eye. I would lover to see before and after picture. I am thinking about the same procedure for the same reason, tried of people asking me if I were tried. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure how much fat. If your main concern is looking tired then a fat transfer would definitely help. My face looks much perkier!

Hi, I think it was about 6 weeks. It's about 5 months ago now and I reckon about 30% of the fat has reabsorbed. I'm still very happy with the results though

Is there any particular reason he took the donor fat from the knee area as opposed to another part of your body (ex. stomach, thigh)?

Why fat from the knee area?
I think they take it from the knee area because people rarely get fat knees! You see the fat still acts in accordance with the donor site. So if in a few years I get a fat tummy the fat cells under my eyes will also get bigger!
3 weeks on now and my eyes look amazing! No longer tired and hollow looking!
I got the same problem as you! but im so down about my awful eyes ! do you think you may need a top up of fat later?
