RealSelf was such an important tool in my search to a BBL that I decided to post my journey from medical clearance thru post op. I literally went thru hell trying to get cleared bc my primary doctor is so thorough. Failed the EKG bc I have anxiety but instead of giving up I wore a 24hr heart monitor to prove to my doctor it was just anxiety. Two days ago Spectrum cleared me and I made my 1st major down payment on the procedure. Supplies are purchased, flight & hotel booked- just waiting on my time:) nervous energy has turned to excitement as I await my chance to get back to prebaby weight. I was 160lbs when I booked the surgery and chose to lose 10lbs. Changing my eating habits was important before the BBL so that I could keep it going after. I'll post my next steps as they occur:)

Today I made another payment to Spectrum after receiving the call regarding my preop instructions. Nothing left but to wait:) by this time next week I'll be recovering w/ a new booty!

Today is the big! Just met the doctor & im at a loss for words. He made me feel more comfortable than I hoped for. I'm marked up just waiting to be taken back!

Omg congratulations!! You are about to super fine!! I am going to pray for you and hope you love your results. I go in August. Keep us posted. Are you getting anything else lipo?

I left the clinic at 9 & I feel better than expected. It's soreness more than pain. My butt is where it's mostly at. Haven't seen my results yet but everyone in the clinic told me it's amazing.
