Two years later

WORTH IT$12,000
I could not be happier with the result. My scars are a lot fainter now and remained thin. I workout almost every day and have kept the muscle definition. My boobs are also great. To anyone thinking of having a mummy makeover go for it! You will love the result.

Scar progression photos

Scar seems to be getting thicker and darker! But I know they say it gets worse before it gets better.

Almost 5 weeks post op update.

I will be 5 weeks post op on Monday and honestly the time has just flown by. I’m Happy with my mummy makeover so far. A few small issues but that’s probably me looking for perfection which is not possible.
I go through phases of being happy with the way things are healing, how they feel and look to moments when I go into panic mode that something is going wrong. In panic mode I research for hours and freak out some more, for example I noticed one breast was tighter and smaller than the other and freaked because I thought I was developing capsular contracture! I also freak out thinking my belly button is becoming a strange shape. I also feel a lot of pulling and tugging above my belly button which doesn’t help. I guess this is all part of the healing because we have such a long journey we go through these ups and downs more often.
The tummy swelling has gone down considerably. I’m still wearing my double binders and training bra for another week or so. I miss the gym so much and feel like I need the stress relief the gym gives me. Im worried about what my fitness level will be when I get back to working out. I’ve worked hard the last few years to build my strength and I’m going to be a newbie again. I’ve also been reading online and have seen suggestions to wear the binder at the gym. Is this really recommended? I plan on starting with some cardio like running and spinning. Then I will move to weights to tone my arms up again.
Some pics to see the progression but not much has changed since the last lot of photos.
