When my twins were born they weighed 7 pounds 9...

When my twins were born they weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and 7 pounds 10 ounces. I gained about 60 pounds during the pregnancy and lost the weight in one month. This left me with excess skin and having to wear spanx everyday. After 3 years and 8 months of living with this skin I was ready to get rid of it. Getting ready everyday was horrible just trying to find the right shirt to hide my stomach. It could literally ruin my whole day.

It took me a couple of years to get the courage to schedule and go to the consult. I was so embarrassed of the doctor seeing me. I had my consult on September 6, 2016. I stood naked in front of Dr. Agullo for about 5 minutes. He was so professional and made me feel very comfortable. I couldn't believe I waited so long to do this! We talked about everything that bothered me plus more. I decided on a circumferential tummy tuck, breast lift, muscle flap and fat injections to my rear, lipo arms and thighs and Volbella to my lips.

Next thing I dreaded were my pre-op pics. Arlene at Southwest Plastic Surgery was great. She also made me feel comfortable in the photo room while I posed in various positions.

December 2, 2016 was the surgery date. I was so nervous but Aidee, the OR nurse was very calm and walked me through was about to happen. Then Hector, the Anesthesiologist, came in and started me on some medication that helped calm my nerves. I had requested a song to be played as I fell asleep and they did not hesitate to fulfill my request. The next thing I remember was Ysette injecting my lips with Volbella and waking up very slowly. When I was fully awake I remember looking down at my stomach in shock thinking "where is the rest of me?" Due to the amount of work I had done, Dr.Agullo recommended I stay the night in the office. I was taken care of by 2 nurses that were great doing everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Laying in the bed with minimal movement made feel like I was going to go crazy, so at 3:00am I requested I start walking. I felt dizzy and nauseous at first but it felt so good to move. I was released from the office a few hours later and rested at home.

One of my friends is an occupational therapist. She came over and showed my husband how to lift me from the bed and how to bathe me. She also lent me a walker and a shower/toilet chair. I highly recommend these items, it makes everything so much easier. I have been healing well. I have not felt any pain at all this whole time. The most paid has been from the tapes being pulled off my skin. I am beyond happy and I would recommend anyone and everyone to do this.
