I have been contemplating this for many years. Insurance has approved. Going from DDD/E to a B/small C "athletic" build. I am 5'9" and 145 pounds. I have been doing CrossFit for 3+ years, very fit and healthy. I have grooves/back/neck/shoulder pain. Hoping for relief soon! Will post updates after surgery in a week!

good luck on your surgery! following along- I'm very similar in size to you and surgery is scheduled for november. is insurance covering your procedure? i'm anxious to hear how many grams you have removed to end up a B/small C!

Insurance is covering, removing 440 g per side, but within surgeons discretion to preserve tissue and shape:)

Hope your surgery is a success. Mine is scheduled in 4 days. I am a weightlifting, running and hiking fanatic who has been big busted since the 5th grade. I have suffered from rashes, chafing, neck and back pain for years and am looking forward to having a "weight" lifted off my chest. I'm a 38E/F and am hoping my surgeon can get me to a C or smaller. I'm glad to have heard so many similar women who have my same story. Sending healing prayers for your surgery and quick recovery:)

Good luck and I hope u end up happy with your result...I'm also fixing to get the same size as u want. I also have a very sporty lifestyle and it sure has been a pain because i wear a size 8/6 in dresses so my frame is too small for these boobs! Lol my surgery is today. It's normal to be nervous. I am too cuz this is life changing! I wish all of us the best of luck....IL keep following up to see your progress..lemme go get ready to head to the surgical center!

Super nervous....but Dr answered all my pre-op questions! I absolutely cannot wait to burn every single giant bra I own!!! Lol trying to keep it light!:)
