I've always wanted a breast augmentation since I realized in high school that the breast fairy skipped over me. Before my child, I had pretty nice small, perky breasts. 34B although I never filled out the cup completely. After breastfeeding I've lost a lot of volume and it's been very depressing to see the caves inside my bra cups. I may have more children down the road but I also might not (I'm infertile but anything an happen!) so I decided I didn't want to wait. I chose Doctor Hardaway because I knew a few friends of mine who went through her and had a great experience. I saw 3 other PS about this procedure but, felt their offices and demeanor was too salesy for me. Doctor Hardaways office is very medical and it's the first place I've noticed all the staff hasn't had a bunch of work themselves.

My initial consultation I asked all of my questions. I had gone in thinking I'd get 250-350cc silicone but, she suggested 450cc high profiles! I tried on the sizers and liked the look of the 450s but, really got caught up on the cup size. I think it'll put me into a D cup when I thought I only wanted a C. I went home and thought about it and decided to trust my doctors suggestions. I told her a million times I don't want huge fake looking breasts and she's assured me that at my height I will be very happy with the 450s. So, that's what I'm going with. Hopefully won't regret it!

I paid in full when I booked it a month ago. Right after I paid for it I went home and FREAKED OUT! What was I doing? Should I just love my small breasts the way they are? What about complication? I was a mess. It took a week for my nerves to die down and now I'm excited again.

My surgery is scheduled for January 4th. That's less than a week away!

Very excited to see your results. It's so helpful to see women with similar stats to yourself when you are trying to decide on sizes. I believe I'd like 450-475 as well. Good luck! :) see you on the other side hehee

We share similar stats. I'm an inch taller. Going with 475s. Could not see that much difference between 450 - 475. I think you will look great. Good luck!

For silicone it was $6000. I had to pay for my bilateral ultrasound, preop blood work, and prescriptions additional.

You have the same build as me. Though I was once 300 lbs. I had gastric bypass 4 years ago and my breasts now look like a nylon with a rock in it when I bend over. Inknow, great image right? I'm 5 10, 134 lbs now and want nothing more than a new set of breasts. I'm just now checking out different surgeons trying to find the right one. What's the healing process like? I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home so work won't be affected but wondering about the pain and restrictions. Thanks for sharing!

The pain is different for everyone. Based on their pain tolerance and the specific technique used. Mine has been really annoying. I had no breast tissue to begin with with a rather large implant, places under the muscle. It's not crazy painful especially if you keep up on your pain meds but the constant soreness, constipation issues, and tightness has worn on me.

Wear a pad in the OR. No tampons allowed. I got mine the day after. It was awesome and really helped with the bloating I was already experiencing from the pain meds (sense the sarcasm lol). Good luck girl!

Will I be able to change my pad or will my pain limit my ability to bend over? I'm really worried about that lol
