WORTH IT
Sorry that I haven't been as active as I was. I just wanted to give an update since I have had several people pm me about my results and how I am feeling.
I am feeling great. Back to doing everything just as before the surgery. I still have the numbness but I expected that at only at only 2 months post op. Scar is doing well. It is super straight, very thin and very smooth. I am really impressed how straight he was able to make the cut and sew it up so nicely. Hopefully it will be almost invisible like the incision that he did for my BA.
I really couldn't be happier with my result. New pics below!

Hi! I'm sorry if you've answered this but what exactly did you have done besides the TT? Was it considered a full TT? Also, how much did it cost? If you don't mind me asking.
Hi! I decided on a mini tummy tuck with lower muscle repair and a good amount of lipo. When I originally went to him regarding my tummy, he said that he could do a good amount of lipo and get me to 80-85% flat but I know that I wouldn't be happy with that. My doctor made sure that he reviewed all options with me (complete with drawings) before making my decision. I asked for the mini tuck and know that I made the right decision for myself. The price was in the mid 6K range I don't remember the exact number.
Hi Eva, did you notice weight loss 2 months post op? I got on the scale today for the first time since week before surgery and I am exactly what I was pre op. I would have thought since I got lipo abd mini extended tt, that the scale would have dropped down but I am also still swollen from belly button down.
Hi there, yes, I have had about a 4lb weight loss. I actually thought it would of have been more considering all that was lipo'd and the skin removed. I don't think I look swollen but again, it is kind of hard to tell because it's still numb so I can't necessarily feel any swelling.
I thought I would have had some sort of weight loss as well. It's bizarre that I haven't and the only thing I can attribute it to is swelling. You looked awesome at your 2 months post op pics. I'm pissed that I don't look as good.
Are you back at the gym? I was told that it will cause more swelling which is why I haven't gone back yet. I do look more puffy sometimes after increased physical activity. We are still so early in the healing process. I read about women who still have a lot of swelling at 6 months. Still give it time. There is still so much healing that still needs to be done.
Wholly crap! You have the best results I've EVER seen! Super low incision that is symmetrical and look at those abs!! Amazing! I will go to you dr! Great result! Can u post a pic of the incision area?
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words. I will post an incision pic when I get some light. It's dark when I wake up and dark when I get home and the lighting in my house is terrible. I will definitely post one this weekend.
Hi from Spain! I am considering the same procedure and I was not decided until I saw your results! Congratulations. Im very happy for you! It must feel so good now :)
I want to gain my confidence back! Will contact your doctor soon.
Best wishes to you! And thanks a million for sharing!

Wow!!! You look truly amazing! I would love to see updated photos now that you are a bit further out! Your low, low, low scar should fit under any swimsuit! :)
Thank you! I am super happy with the result. I will try to take an updated picture and post soon!
Hi Eva, are u still happy with your results a year and a half later? I am not happy with how I look at this point as it seems as if, I may have gained weight and it went to my love handles. Can u post a pic of your belly?

2 week update
Today is exactly 2 weeks since my mini TT. Holy tightness..from my incision down to the top of my legs is super tight feeling. I have to get up and stretch out to get going. Anyone know any way to help this? Also, I am wearing 2 compression garments ( the dr did not tell me to do this) to help with the fluid but I can still see more building. Any comments on how many times you had to get fluid drained before the seroma resolved? I am finally sleeping on my sides now which makes sleep a lot more comfortable. My body literally changes everyday, this by far has been the most rewarding surgery.

It took me a few steps to straighten up in the morning. I'm 3 months post op and still feel tight but stretching feels good. I didn't have drains, wore my compression garment for the full 3 months. I still modify my core workouts,
Thank you for the comment. The morning is easy. It is when I am sitting down for long periods of time like driving or sitting at my desk at work. I took a hot shower last night and that helped some. I wish there was more I could do to help it along.
How are you feeling? I just scheduled my tummy tuck for January with dr kole and was hoping to hear how your progress is going. Hope all is well!!
Hi, I too used Dr. Kole in January for a mtt. I will have to agree with everything you are saying. I will say for me the garment became a crutch that inhad to break from. Your body will adjust after a few days not wearing it. I promise you will still love your results. After your seroma is gone think about not using garment so much. I do use it the night before I have a special event! :) it just takes time with the pulling sensation. Enjoy!
Thank you! I totally agree, I can see how it would become a crutch. Did you have a seroma?
Well u had mm with mini TT it's 8 weeks for me my belly is still numb which freaks me out I'm still on the fence about getting this done. This whole journey has made me so bi- polar it's ridiculis! I'm still waiting to feel normal I am getting better but this recovery sux ass! Your gonna b fine just keep coming on this site it helps a lot to know your not alone. Everything I thought something was wrong I'd come on here, keep us updated
Best thing I ever did and results are amazing. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Kole. It takes time to heal.
Agreed! Glad that you were pleased with your results :)

Forgot the pics, here they are
Oh, I also forgot to say that some of you asked for pics of the incision but it is still covered in tape. The stitches are disolvable which I was stoked to find out. Also, the steri strips on the incision are starting to crinkle up and he told me that was because I was shrinking up. Now who doesn't want to hear that? ! :)

Fantastic! You look gorgeous already- can u imagine your final results?!
Thank you! I am super pleased with it so far and only 11 days post op. Even jeans fit me so differently already :)
Are you comfortable with the position of your BB?
I honestly don't see and can't tell a difference in the position of it.
You look great so far. And yes your Dr has done a great job on you. But I am very interested on getting a mini tummy tuck as well. But I thought the scar would be way smaller. Just like a secection would be.
I will tell you no matter what you will have a scar that is bigger than you thought. It does fade over time. The one thing i would be mindful about is where the PS puts the scar. Dr Kole puts his lower than any other PS. Look at pictures over and over again. Only you know what you are looking for. I have seen so many pics of scars that are high and it leaves a "ledge" so to speak.
You are so right about other people scars being so high up, and that is one thing that scares me, because my frame is so small that I know they don't need to take much from me. I just have a slight sag after having my son but you can't even see it until I bend forward or lay down. I just wish things could just go back normal like how we first was .. Lol
So sorry error.. As I bend forward or sit down.. ( really wish real self had an edit bottom) lol
William2 is right on point. You think it is going to be smaller but if it was, your tuck would look terrible, uneven with a ledge. His scar is super low and he takes great pride in how low he makes them.

Thanks so much for continuing to post- you should be thrilled!
