After going to about 5 consultations, I finally picked my surgeon. The reason being I decided on Dr. Baillo and not Dr. Ortega was that Dr. Baillo was the only one that found a hernia under bellybutton! I was shocked! Never in a million years would I have thought I had a hernia. To make a long story short he not like other surgeon took the time to actually check my stomach and not just look at it. And the best part, he is not charging me for taking out my hernia.

Yesterday I finished paying for my surgery and they did blood work. The nurses at the office are so nice and friendly and one of then actually mentioned she had a tummy tuck revision with Dr. Baillo and even showed me her results. Needless to say, she looks amazing and I got so excited to think that eventually I will have a nice flat stomach. I am embarrassed but here are pictures of how I look now. Monday is the big day and as soon as I start feeling better I will have my mom take pictures so I can post.

Hi!!! I'm so excited for you! I am going to see him the last week of August. I'm so interested in following your process and care. He seems like a very good doctor. If you don't mind me asking how much were you quoted for the tummy tuck and are you having Lipo in any other areas? I'm just curious his price range. Seems like some doctors are very cheap and some over the top. Would love to know if you feel comfortable. :) and good luck you must be so excited!!

He is very nice and answers all your questions. He quoted me $6,900 and I'm also getting lipo on the sides. He checks your belly throughly and thanks to that he was able to find out that I have a hernia. I went to other consultations and none of the doctors checked me like he did, therefore they weren't able to find out that I have a hernia. Thanks to Dr. Baillo I found this out sooner then later and this is the reason I picked him.

Hi ladies, it has been 3 days since my surgery and I must say I feel a bit better today. The first 2 days was very painful and super uncomfortable. It got to a point that the meds were not doing anything for me. Nonetheless, I was draining only on one side and I was getting worried. I went to see the doctor today but a nurse saw me instead and she explained how I have to clean out my drains and that its normal for one draon to have more than the other. I cant take of my garment therefore I can't take pictures but as soon as I can I will. Everyone treated me great the day of surgery and thankfully everyone was a success.

I'm so sorry that you were in so much pain that even the pain meds weren't helping! {{HUGS}} Did the PS not give you anything else to help? Or at least check you to make sure something wasn't wrong? Bless your heart!
How do you clean out your drains? Is there something else besides emptying them? That is good to know.
How is your PS treating you now, after surgery? Do you get to talk to them when you want?

It is also helpful to others to know some questions like.....How tall are you and how much do you weigh? Do you have stomach issues from pregnancies, c-section/s, or just from weight loss/gain?
We will look forward to your 'before" photos and then your "after" photos when you have your surgery! Most people have loved their tt results and are glad they did it! I am scheduled for August 21. I am both nervous and very excited :)

My PS is Dr. Steven J Smith. He is very intelligent and I love the work that I've seen from him. I spent the day finishing up my "to do items" with getting my medical clearance and EKG. So, just waiting on my Pre Surgery pack. I still need to get other items in order plus sending my baby off to college the day before I'm scheduled for my tummy tuck. Stress! Stress! It will be okay for us though! We've got this!
