On October 10th I made my 2 month mark. Went to see my PS and he said everything looks good and that I no longer need to wear my garment/ spanxs. I get so swollen that I don't see the flat side yet. Wondering when this swollen will stop.

I have finally hit the 6 week mark! I get swollen everyday, sometimes more than others and I'm wondering if I will ever be as flat as l was when l first got my tummy tuck on day one? I wear my spanks everyday and my PS approved of the spanxs I wear everyday. I will post pictures soon.

I would look at yourself first thing in the morning when you first get up out of bed. I think that is your size. At least, I think it is for me. I stopped wearing my binder for several weeks per my surgeon's instructions. I found that it helped not squeezing me when I was really swollen. I went back to wearing it at 5 weeks 2 days because I found that it did help 'hold' me and it felt better to have it on. I have several Flexees Boyshort high waisted smoothing panty that I wear during the day. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it leaves a mark all the way across my stomach and scar. So I've added padding.
Which spanx did you get? There are so many and Amazon doesn't always have the best reviews of those so I had been afraid to spend the money.

In the morning, I am super flat and once I start dealing with the morning rush I get swollen. I waited 8 weeks and then I went without nothing. It just feels great not to wear anything, but I do wear high flat tummy undies and it helps me out too.

3 weeks Post Op

Yesterday I had my 3 week appointment with Dr.Baillo. I mentioned to him how I have been having strong pains on my right side above my private. He looked at it and just mentioned to take motrin and not to over due it. Today I am dying in pain! Everything looked good to him but this pain is killing me. I hope it goes away soon. Anyone has experienced this? I will post pictures soon.

Sorry that I am responding so late to your post. I haven't even posted any updates on my review after 2 weeks. I had horrible pains for the first 5 weeks. One of the most painful suffering that I did was the feeling that a cord was pulled tight across my entire stomach. Then it felt like it was going to 'saw' through. It was very excruciating and I really regretted getting my surgery for many weeks. It finally went to the lower right side like you described. At about 6 weeks post op. I finally hit the "magic" number where it hurts but it is tolerable. I was told that mine was from muscle spasms and pressure from internal organs and fat. I was given Flexeril to take three times a day. It actually did help after about 2/3 days. I also gently massaged my stomach with lotion. {I had horrible dry skin on my stomach also}. I am almost 8 weeks post op now and swelling isn't nearly as bad. {I still swell, but that too is manageable}.
I do have pain when I do too much, but after 6 weeks of not getting to do anything I do kind of push myself. I was stuck in my recliner for 5 weeks and 6 days. I finally got to sleep in my bed for three hours that day. I definitely had a very painful recovery. I still have pain sleeping on my side, but there is no way that I'm going back to sleeping in that chair. :D lol It is getting better for me and I think it will for you too. Just hang in there!

Thankfully this pain went away and I also pushed myself too. PS told me not to be scared and to move around so I try.
