1 month post op

I'm seeing strong results in my stomach area. Minor results in my underarm and even more minor results in my back. I do understand swelling takes up to 6 months so I will be patient. However, the sharp shooting pains especially in arms and lower back are becoming so intolerable especially while working. Did I mention I teach elementary students and I still can't lift my arms over my head... hard days for my work environment.

I was unable to have massages since I don't live near a place that does lymhatic massages. I have my month check up this week and I will take a bus to Seoul to see my doctor and she scheduled my free massage for me. I'm hoping to feel different afterward even though I'm sure the massage doesn't help after just one time.

I need ways to reduce swelling and pain in my arms... I dont know how to sleep with arm compression so I stopped wearing the sleeves and I know that could cause problems but I need sleep to do my job. I think I might have the inflamatory issue some have been having because my pain is still pretty intense and my arms tight and ache. If the wind blows against my arm hairs it hurts.

Overall, I'm still glad I did the procedure I just wish I was rich enough to not have to work and maybe did it in deep winter opposed to spring heat waves making me sweat in body suit. In two days I will move to smaller body suit and only wear it at night. I hope I can fit it because the one I'm wearing now still feels tight and they claimed that it would be lose by the time I needed to change. I'm trying to increase my water intake to flush out but it doesn't seem to be helping. If anyone has any advice please let me know! thank you!!!!

*** I will post pictures soon!

Day 11

I went out and had a day of beauty I got my hair done and nails done! It was 50 min but subway ride with two changes and I survived all the steps and fast paced environment. I'm definitely tired but I'm glad I was able to make a full day of activity. Tomorrow I take a 4 hour bus ride to the location for my school orientation I hope I can make it.

I decided to cut the arms off my compression suit because my arm pain was to extreme and tight. I bought an arm compression sleeve from the pharmacy and I'm wearing it off and on. I hope this doesn't cause problems with my arms but the pain was unbearable. I'm still wearing it around my body.

I did research on Korean Plastic Surgery Clinics. Korea is one of the Top locations in the world for plastic surgery and I was excited to go there since you can get more done for the price as well the quality of work and professional staff is amazing. There is a specific foreigner section where staff members speak many languages English being the main one and you are able to have your whole visit translated. I scheduled everything before leaving for Korea via email with the coordinator. She is very helpful and considering I emailed her a thousand questions a week she was very patient and understanding.
