Right so I'm doing so much better but wow it's an emotional roller coaster. I'm tired of being sore and dreading going back to work this week. Wish I had waited another week. Itchiness and bruising all cleared now. But still bent over when walking and back ache can be the pits. I'm looking forward to the day I wake up and I'm just feeling healthy and happy! Belly button and cut looking way better! Now if that swelling would only subside!

You look great!! Glad to hear it's getting better. I, too, would like to wake up without feeling so stiff and jump outa bed! Unfortunately, I still have my bouts of itchiness either at the boobs or TT incision or both. Between the binder and skin irritation it comes and goes. Oh and my moms area where drains have now healed are also really really itchy!! It's miserable!! I will try to post pics of my incisions today, have you started scar treatment yet. I've started 2 days ago so I hope it speeds up the healing. I still swell up to esp at the end of the day! Just take it easy at work, or see if u can take an extra week off, tell them you got food poisoning lol! Happy fast healing!!

I started scar treatment today...Weirdest thing is doc gave me a marble to wear in my bellybutton too from next several weeks. I wore it all day and when I showered tonight my bellybutton was a perfect "o". I do find it very uncomfortable though so will take it out a bit tonight and insert again later. Unfortunately I had agreed to attend court tomorrow and Thursday and there was no way a judge was going to accept my reasons for wanting a postponement hahaha! Oh well. We should get post birth and maternity and toddler leave too! Hahaha! I'm also finding that the swelling gets worse in he evenings. And my back ache today was exponential by time I got home! I was also so thirsty. Downed a bottle of water and now off to sleep as it's night time here. Sorry to hear of all the itchiness! It's unbearable! Happy fast healing for you too! Keep me posted!

P.s. I forgot to mention that to top it all I am menstruating early too! Must be anasthesia. So that's adding to my self pity and back ache no doubt. Argh. I know maybe TMI. Just saying haha.

Not TMI at all lol! I actually got mine two days after my surgery! It was not fun, especially with the drains and all! At least your rains are out ;) I can only imagine it must be hard without ur husband around. I was very emotional after my fourth child was born and my husband was out of town for only a week, I can only imagine how hard if it was longer. Just take this time to rest, relax and recover so when he gets home, you will look and feel amazing! Then you two can really celebrate! I need to update my review, I've taken pics but I haven't had time to actually write. I will do my best to update tonight or tomorrow. Good night for now! ;)

Glad you are going good! How are you feeling about the results so far? How does it feel to have a smaller belly? I bet it's amazing.
July 27, 2015
Yes its very cool! I feel so much more confident again...but then I have a moment and I burst into tears! I'm not sure if this is post op emotions or the fact that my husband has been away for so long and still 3 weeks till I see him. So can't add that to post op symptoms haha. I'm getting there but SO happy that I did this for ME. We are usually so busy doing things for everyone else!

So the drains coming out on Thursday was a turning point. I am far more mobile and in a lot less pain. I have a hematoma on my back but I am advised gentle massage will make it go away. Day by day the swelling is easing and my cut is looking better and better. Let's hope the healing process continues well!

Isn't it wonderful to get those drains out, mine were removed yesterday and I feel so much better. You look great!! Isn't it the best decision, I'm so thankful this surgery is available and recovery is not too bad. I love the transformation. I feel so much better when I look in the mirror now lol! Happy healing to us!!

Aww don't feel down, did u tell him about "swell hell" the body has to go through major swelling and healing before it can finally show its true results! You have to be patient and that's not very nice he said that. After all, it is considered a major surgery. You need positive vibes when healing both physically and mentally. If there is any negative you should shut it out. Be patient u look great!

He's only 14 so I couldn't take it too personally. I have my moments and like I said it's hard because my biggest supporter (my husband) is on contract in Asia for next 5 weeks and isn't here to boost my fragile ego. I am still however amazed at the flatness albeit that I am swollen and can't say how I am going to look. I am also paranoid about infections. Weird. I managed a bit more this morning and walking getting easier by the day. My back ache is awful however. Off to shower and take some more post op pics with no binder on. Hoping I can see a difference today! Thanks for encouragement!

You don't look fat at all! Your results are great and you are doing so well without your husband there. I bet you can't wait to show him the new you ?!

Yeah I'm kind of glad he has missed all the drains and bruises. Hopefully when he gets home in August I will be bruise and swelling free! How are you doing today?

Day 7

GillyBen
So bruising is dropping a bit and yellow g on top. Walking becoming easier but slowly. Last drain out tomorrow whoop whoop! I managed to sit with little man this evening (who is almost 3) and play games with him on his I pad (we have a power outage so no electricity), without worrying too much about kicks and accidental bumps. He also gave me huge cuddles and it didn't hurt! Yay! One area of concern for me is that I have developed a lump on my right hip just under the lipo area. Thank goodness I am seeing doc tomorrow afternoon so he can check it out. I keep itching like crazy in the bruised areas...anyone else had this before? I'm hoping it's a sign of healing! Scar not too bad considering it's a week. I can't remember how fast or slow I healed from 3 emergency C Sections. I was either planning funerals for my two angel babies or expressing milk for the little guy in NICU. So how I was healing of no concern at that time I guess. I think cut and belly button look good, but Lack of feeling around navel is so weird! Very swollen today and looking so big. Im going to put this down to swelling and water and fluid retention. Let's hope lump Resolves itself!
