A doctor filled my under eye area to resolve some dark circles. He was too aggressive with it and it was far more than anything I ever expected. Since then, I've been working to get both sides of my face even and minimize the up keep of it all. My regular Dr used a drop of Hyalunidase to help breakdown some of the over fill on the right side, but there was still some residual discoloration. It was right by the holiday so I wasn't able to see her and I went to my Derm who is normally pretty good. She was supposed to put another drop in but she used too much. It depleted ALL of the collagen around my eye, even where nothing was filled. The area around my eye socket was completely flat to the bone, even the outer corner. I'm going to a trusted person now to help fix it and she used Juvederm closer the eye to fill the gap and prefers Radiesse closer to the cheek and its working great. Be careful with Hyaluronidase. This has become an expensive and unfortunate fix that will be on-going. If it's only minor let it ride out. your body will break it down eventually.

Thank you Bridget52. I'm so pleased you are now on the right track. I went to see a cosmetic doctor about faintip lines & she proceeded to inject my face with Hylasr mainly on one side of my face. It totally flattened it S you said straight to the bone. I was devastated and too afraid to see her again as I don't trust her so went to my regular dr who had given me vumna in the cheeks in the past to correct it. It has now been 4 days and although he used a conservative amount - he used Elevesse. Hydrelle. My face is totally assymetrial. I am sick to the stomache ' too afraid to use Hylase again as no matte what drs say - for some people like myself it appears to damage the natural tissue in
Places that there were no filler. I was pretty before, I g
Feel so ugly & disfigured and consumed by what I've s
Done to myself I can barely focus on anything else. I have 2 beautiful boys and was dating but don't want to see him again because I have absolutely no confidence. Most drs here just seem to be motivated by dollars. They don'tisten to what you know through experience. Please be careful with the doctors you choose. My life is ruined

Just want to say ... I know how you're feeling right now, but there's no doubt in my mind that you are overly fixated on this, and it's all you see when you look in the mirror. Give it time, and surely the man you are dating cares for more than your looks. Continue to be yourself, and focus on all that's positive. Meanwhile, there's are ways of righting what you believe went wrong. Be patient! :o)

Thank you 1887anon. for your wise, very kind & comforting words. They mean a lot. I did respond earlier but am not sure what happened to that post. I'm doing ok. I' am trying to leave my face alone for now. See whether nature will help restore some harmony.. I am also trying to manage my emotional health to contain the acute anxiety & depression that this experience has triggered by seeing a professional.
Some moments are easier than others. I do try to focus on the good in my life. It's just sometimes overwhelming to remember what I've done & lost. I never knew I relied so heavily on my looks for confidence. I am working on restoring that so I can move forward & just function.
From what you say it sounds like you may have been through a rough time yourself, for which I am truly sorry. I really wouldn't want anyone to feel this kind of pain. I am however happy to hear that you have moved forward. It is inspiring & encouraging. Best wishes. And thank you.!!!xx

In spite of everything I've read on the internet, light & daily massage (maybe with an essential oil) and warm compresses do work to help get rid of filler faster...and it's all natural. Drink a lot of fluids. Drinking water flushes out your system. My heart goes out to you. Good luck

i think u were seeing things that were not there. After 30 all of us have flat cheeks its part of aging. I dont think the hyaluronidase made your cheek flat. Everyones right side of the face is smaller/narrower than the left. This was not the fault of the hyaluronidase.

Blueeyes the truth is we don't know enough about this. Doctors are full of it. I've seen the same doctors say different things regarding hyaluronidase, and the truth is they don't know. All we know is that a lot of people are reporting tissue damage from this product. It DOES affect your own HA, so why many doctors here even lie about that is beyond me. The question is whether it is permanent, temporary or avoidable. It seems to some it has been permanent...

Hi there, the same thing happened to me. Can you please tell me how many Units of the hyaloranidase they used in your face? Also, have you seen any improvement of fat coming back in that flattened area?
