How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Don't let people fool you - it's painful
For me, softwave was a lot more painful than people let on. I had numbing cream, 800 mg ibuprofen, and laughing gas. Still almost ended the treatment early due to the pain. But I made it. Barely. Then the treatment provider said I had was in her top 3 of people who had tolerated the procedure well - surprising since I was cringing and pulled away at times. The only extra thing I could have done to help with the pain was take a 'Valium' but I didn't have a driver so that wasn't an option. Face continued to have a mild, tolerable burning sensation rest of day. I don't know that I'll do this again. If I don't see results, I'll feel like an idiot for putting myself through this 'painless' procedure.
