Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Full of Regret
I wish I could turn back the clock. I would not have gotten this treatment done. I had two Sofwave treatments. I am now 3+ months after the 2nd one. It was super painful and did not deliver results. If anything, I'm afraid it may have made things worse (some fat loss), after experiencing some mild and temporary tightening that did not last (both times). My provider was professional and kind and skilled. I did lose a little weight, but my face looks much thinner than it should. I am praying that my skin will return to normal, but warning others feels like something I had to do. Heating your skin to the point of pain can never be a good thing (and not if you have an autoimmune condition, as I do, even in remission. I was told it would be okay, and I regret believing it). If you look online, especially on social media, most of the posts are by clinics, not by patients. There are just not enough patient reviews out there yet, and this should have been a warning sign. No one knows the long-term effects of this. I wish I had been able to accept the way I looked before I did this. Dear Stranger reading this, I hope you will reconsider doing Sofwave. I hope you will reconsider cosmetic procedures in general and only do it if you are seriously disfigured to begin with (likely you are not). Or do it if you are fully aware and can accept the risks (I was not aware). Or at least just wait until there are more reviews for Sofwave and more information out there. It's a business that wants to prey on us women with insecurities. But you are okay as you are. You are beautiful as you are. I regret letting someone else define what beauty is for me. Focus on eating well, drink water, quit caffeine, exercise, put natural oils and creams on your skin, do face yoga, breathe, meditate; these have no side effects. I hope this at least helps one other person.
