Excruciating!!

I thought I had a high pain tolerance but oh my God this treatment was absolutely brutal! Not even sure the word brutal does it justice…no words. I had numbing cream, nerve blockers, and nitrous. Hands down would never do it again. I’d opt for general anesthesia and a face lift.

Hi! As far as I know, sofwave isn't supposed to affect the upper layers of the skin this way. Are you sure it was what you had? And if so, where did you get it done?

The pain was deep. No pain on the epidermis.

Yikes, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. They shouldn't have treated you on the highest setting, or at least given you appropriate warning/meds

Thank you. It was definitely torture. :(

Prior to procedure, they are supposed to apply a topical cream to numb you and minimize the pain. Do you recall them explaining that to you? So sad you suffered through this… :(

I’m so glad I found this! It was excruciating for me too!!! and you couldn’t pay me to do it again but when I did a Google search asking “does sofwav hurt” and saw tons of articles that mentioned mild pain it made me feel like a baby. I’m sorry, I’ve had a baby, broken multiple bones, had surgery, spent 11 hours total getting tattooed and this was WORSE than all of that. (To be fair, I had an epidural). I’m learning that the people who barely felt pain were being treated with a lower setting, so now I don’t feel like such a wuss. But still. Talk about false advertising

I wonder if your procedure was done improperly.

I think it was done on the highest setting.

Mine was super painful. It just was. It hurts. Not sure if I could do again either !!

Same! It was excruciating. There is definitely false advertising regarding the level of pain (I had numbing cream, gas and prescription tylenol... felt like someone is ironing your face. The esthetician told me people often scream.)

Besides the pain how were the results ?

I have had one out of two so far, I don’t really see much of a result especially for the cost.
