Dr Jeffords has been one of the best doctors ever

I just wanted to share a quick update on my experience with Dr. Jeffords. I had my surgery with him about 5 months ago. After the initial healing stages, which has its own ups and downs that everyone who’s had this surgery can attest to (like the damn vest), the left side of my chest was perfect… I mean, picture perfect. The right was definitely 10x improved and it was clear that he removed all the gland, but for some reason, the nipple didn’t shrink as much and get taut like the left. My body just healed slightly differently on each side. Dr. Jeffords suggested TO ME that we do a quick touch up (in office) to tighten things, leveraging the first incision. This occurred today in under 20 minutes.

Heres what makes Dr. Jeffords stand out.

If you read my experience, you’ll know I went to Dr. Jeffords because I needed to have a revision done. With the FIRST doctor, I had to point out, in every. one. of. my. appointments. about how nothing had changed (and he kept making me feel like I was nuts and saying ‘You look great’) and finally by the 5th appointment, he very begrudgingly and arrogantly told me he would ‘donate his time’.

Doctor Jeffords told me today ‘I committed to making it so that you can take off your shirt confidently and I plan on doing that’. He has probably been one of the nicest, most caring doctors that I’ve ever been to. As busy as he is, you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, the results they get, and their happiness and that is manifested in his work.

Reviews were so important to me when I was researching who to have my revision with, hopefully it will be for someone reading this as well.

So far so good!

The bruising is fading and regaining mobility more and more everyday. Most importantly, my chest continues to have very little swelling and things are perfectly flat! There is some creasing on the nipples, from formerly stretched skin, that I'm assuming will resolve over the next couple of months. Right now, my focus is on dealing with those drain scars. I purchased Silicon sheets today and am giving them a try. Will add more pictures shortly. Every time I lift my shirt up, its like the chest I always wanted. I go back at 4 weeks and at that point the sutures will be removed I believe.

Here you can see my pre-op pictures--->3 months later there was ZERO change

I posted 2 days post op Dr. Jeffords where the results were amazing and it will only get better as things heal.

Dr. jeffords and his staff have been exceptional so far (i'm one week post-op). They've made me comfortable asking any and all questions both before, the day of and after surgery. He made time to see me on a Sunday for a post-op checkup 3 days after procedure and its just been a really great experience, especially coming out of the bad one I had prior to seeing him.
