I have never been able to see my upper eyelids. I have never worn makeup - behind mascara, for this reason. Everything would just smudge off and all over my face. So I have always dreamed of having an upper eyelid worthy of the smoky eye look. Of course, growing older hasn't helped either.
One of my younger sisters decided to have this procedure performed by Dr. Landsman in Smithtown, NY about 8 months ago. She now looks 10 years younger. It was my turn!!!
The only difference is my sister chose anesthesia and I chose to do this procedure under local anesthetics. I did not feel a thing!! it was amazing.
I did have some extra swelling around the right eye. Doctor explained that this happens sometimes, is nothing to be concerned with and will resolve in time.
