After many years of diminishing eyebrows, I decided to research eyebrow transplants, (FUT) and discovered that that I was a candidate for the procedure. I met with Dr. Marotta in Smithtown, Long Island, and I immediately felt confident that he was the doctor to perform the procedure. Ten days later, I am really liking what I see in the mirror. I know that the ultimate growth of the eyebrows will take a few months, but I am fascinated so far about what has been done. You only live once!!!!

The decision to have an eyebrow transplant (Follicular Unit Transplantation) is one that is very personal and quite emotional. I was undergoing a procedure that would transform my facial distinction that had identified me my whole adult life. Dr. Marotta has shown compassion and sensitivity to me throughout the entire process, form the initial consultation with him, to the actual procedure, and now to the post- surgical support and optimism. He is a doctor that exemplifies an extreme professionalism in our medical world. His demeanor is calming, his expertise phenomenal, and most important, the human element that he exudes has given me a reassurance that the end results, my new eyebrows, will bring to me, a greater self-confidence and a tremendous contentment.
