There were actually no cons! Can't believe I'm saying that. I also had a fat transfer at the same time. Interestingly, it did make me look a bit "over-filled" briefly (as Dr. Marotta said it would!) He explained that 50% of the fat is reabsorbed by your body, so if they don't overfill, you will end up disappointed. It can be a tad freaky in the beginning (between overfill and swelling), but in pretty short order, you see amazing results! I only had lower eyes done.....didn't need uppers, so I think that may make a difference. I had minimal bruising (took all the pre-op pills that were indicated). Bottom line: a very successful experience! Actually had people look at me (in the most wonderful way!) and not know that I had surgery. Of course, I fessed up! Dr. Marotta and staff are terrific!
