My Teeth Shift Back INSTANTLY

One- half of my aligners were the wrong size and didn’t fit my teeth so I had to force them on
Two- my teeth were never in the place of where they should be when it was time to switch trays
Three- at the end of my treatment I had to force the last set on painfully because the aligners were almost straight but my teeth are SO CROOKED!
Four- all I get are calls about ordering my retainers but crooked teeth aren’t what I want to retain.

Initially I thought it was working. Then I noticed that just in the time frame that I took them out for eating my teeth were shifting back. Now that I’ve finished the last set, I’m literally just so sad and I’m at the place again where I cover my mouth when I smile or laugh. They’re not straight, I’ve went through pain and wasted money for crown tipping. I never thought it’d be like this. All I wanted was to have a confident smile. Not satisfied or happy at all

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. I would suggest calling customer service and telling them about your displeasure, but their customer service isn't the best.
I hope that you can find some sort of resolution with them or with another treatment. I hope this doesn't end up happening to me, too :( Good luck

Go back and rescan. They will send new aligners. I got down with my treatment and was waiting on my retainer. The last aligners broke and my teeth shifted halfway back from time waiting on retainer. I went in and got rescanned and they sent me more aligners. Just finished those and still need a little bit more so got rescanned again and waiting on that 2 month treatment. No extra charge either.

Did you ever have dental trauma when you were younger. If so, the upper right central incisor may be what we call ankylosed (fused to the bone) which means it will not move. You should probably see an orthodontist or your dentist to find this out prior to trying anything else. I am a recently retired orthodontist.

I am working int he Ortho field for about 30 years now. I do not understand how the Smile Direct Club can get away with treatment without direct doctor supervision to over see the patient. I have seen cases from there that now have root damage, gum problems not to mention a bite that could hardly close. I am just wondering how long they will continue to let these people run this business and put patients at risk!
