Smile Direct Club - Mild Crowding

After a lot of research on Smile Direct Club, I have decided to share my journey on RealSelf in hopes that my experience may help someone make a decision about whether or not Smile Direct Club is for them. I am 23 years old. I have never had braces. I have mild crowding in my top and bottom teeth. My biggest concern is one of my eye teeth on the top that protrudes out noticeably. I have always been interested in getting this fixed, but was hesitant to spend $5000-$7000 on traditional braces/Invisalign, as I felt the changes were so minor. There must be some kind of happy medium...I first heard about Smile Direct Club on Instagram. After contemplating for awhile, and doing a lot of research, I found out there was a "Smile Bus" that was going to be near my house offering complimentary 3D Scans (as opposed to a $95 kit). I decided to go in for a scan, and I'm glad I did because it sounds like the scan is much more accurate than the mold. It was a simple process and the bus was clean and professional. After about 2 days I received my Smile Plan. They estimated 5 months with the aligners, which doesn't seem bad at all to me. The results looked great, so I ordered my aligners yesterday. The estimated time until I get my retainers is 4-5 weeks. I have attached my Scan results here. I am nervous and excited to see how this goes!
