Had braces 12 years ago and was off and on with my retainers. I want to get my teeth back to perfectly straight! I heard about smile direct club so I thought I would give it a try. So far I have only gotten myself into an on-site smile station and got a teeth scan, and that was honestly pretty easy-going.

Customer service...
I knew going into this that customer service didn’t have the best reputation.
I asked very specifically for two receipts ( I made half the purchase with my HSA and the other with my VISA which I was going to send to my insurance).
I made the payment on a Sunday night- no receipt to be found. Call the next day, and they say it will be in my email in 3-5 business days. Whoever hired their automation service should really hire someone else...
5 days pass and I get my receipt- NOT itemized. Call back- the guy said he left a note. And I have to wait another 3-5 business days AGAIN! Seriously?
I hope I didn’t make a mistake going through this whole process... ????

Worth it- If there are no hiccups!
Well all in all I’d say I’m very happy with the results! Yes customer service sucked, but the aligners worked great.
I will say that the retainer they provided me didn’t fit ( I have a small mouth and it hit my bottom mouth bone) - but it’s ok, because I was planing to go to an ortho to replace my old retainer anyways.
If you don’t have issues then the service is great. However the couple of times I did have to contact customer service it was inefficient and all over the place. All in all, it was worth it and I’m really happy with the results of my teeth.
