Smile Direct Did Not Fix My Crooked Teeth
I went to Smile Direct Club to fix a cross-bite on my upper pre-molars. They were supposed to send me a video modeling how my teeth would move over the 4 month treatment. They never did this and I only found out after the treatment that this was a requirement for them to send to me prior to starting treatment. This information was never communicated to me via email or phone. As a result of not confirming receipt of my dental plan video, I naively moved forward with treatment since the dentist did not reject me as a candidate. Almost 5 months later, two of my pre-molars are still crooked and have not fixed the cross-bite on the left upper teeth. Over time this can lead to degeneration of my jaw. Not only did I waste $2,100, I will probably have to see a professional orthodontist to fix my teeth. Invisalign would be an extra $4,000.
