SMAS Facelift and Septoplasty

UPDATED FROM MelissaV1
6 days post

A lot of swelling.

WORTH IT$11,000
I'm six days out. Cannot feel my ears (which is probably a good thing)...and I have a great deal of swelling around my ears and my neck. I have huge cheek bones but I think they will go down once all the swelling subsides.
I'm not in pain any more, just feel lethargic. I also had a septoplasty so I'm recovering from that as well...which I can breathe! Hallelujah!
After reading other reviews, I see that some people are going to the store, putting on makeup, etc. I cannot imagine doing any of that right now. But I am moving around. I'll post pictures in a bit.

ORIGINAL POST

SMAS Facelift and Septoplasty

The day before surgery is the worst. The anxiety and the self doubt are off the charts. I had a busy work day but still was so nervous. I'm four days post op now and the pain is bearable. I feel the incisions in my ears the most. And with the septoplasty, I cannot breathe out of my nose, which I hope rectifies with my five day out appointment tomorrow.

Dr. Carniol was absolutely amazing throughout the procedure and the day after. The nurses at overlook were also truly wonderful. My thanks goes out to Susan and to Angela who helped me with pre and post op.
