Almost a year out

WORTH IT$5,000
So here I am about a year out. I was injured and had to have surgery so I did gain some weight and I’m not as toned as I would like to be but I retained the shape I wanted and I don’t have the saddlebags that I could never get rid of despite rigorous exercise :) Overall i am super happy to have had this procedure and once I’m cleared to work out I imagine the results will only get better. Any questions please feel free to ask!

You look great! I'm considering Dr Marciano. She had some mixed reviews on yelp, but here they all look good. Overall, how was your experience?
Overall I'd say it was worth it. I will add it's not a weight loss option, it's a body contouring option. As long as you watch your weight you'll enjoy your results. Even with some mild weight gain I maintained the shape I was looking for but you will gain in other areas. Now that I'm slowly losing weight again I'm seeing the results more and more.
How long did you take to heal?
I had the procedure on a Friday, was at work that Monday. The compression garment is a god send, I wound up buying three in total and wore them for 24 hours the first two weeks and at least a month for 8 hours a day. I would estimate that all of the bruising, swelling and numbness was gone in two months.
Thank you! ☺️
I have an appt with Dr.M in Oct. and hoping there’s not any pain & she sucks enough fat out! Lol
what have you done? Smartlipo 360 or regular lipo?

Almost 6 weeks

About 6 weeks out, as you can see bruising is gone and swelling is down significantly. I still have a bit of soreness and a prickly feeling around my belly button and hips but that diminishes everyday. I still wear my compression garment from time to time, mostly when I’m sleeping. I don’t think it’s doing anything more for my healing but it’s actually comfortable lol!

Bruising almost gone

The bruising is almost gone except for a few stubborn areas, I am super itchy but I know that’s part of the healing process. Still happy that I went through with it and I like the results so far, especially around my outer thighs. I have had “saddle bags” for as long as I can remember. Going for my first lymphatic drainage massage today, I’ll let you know ow that goes.

The LD Massages are great, keep doing them...
You look great! I also had my procedure done by Dr. Marciano. I am now 1 month post op. Do you have any lumps forming?
Hi @beautyqueen421. Thanks for the compliment! I do have some hardness and lumps forming. I did a lymphatic drainage massage this week and have another one scheduled for next week. I found the first one to be helpful with the residual swelling.
