I am one week post smart lipo surgery.  I had my upper and lower abs done along with my flanks. The surgery itself was a total breeze. I have been in almost no pain and only took pain meds the first day.

I can already see some improvements even with the swelling. My pants are about 1-2 inches too big for me already. I was in pretty good shape going into the surgery (only about 5-10 lbs over ideal weight) so I only had one liter of fat removed. My doctor says it will keep improving from here!

I have a quick question for you. I had the same areas done on Monday with excellent results. How much are you wearing the compression garment? It's driving me crazy.

I am wearing mine 24/7 (except to shower). It doesn't really bother me until I go to bed and then it is awful! I am not sure if it is because I have swelled up during the day or not. Have you noticed any swelling?

Thank you for replying. I have two garments. One is more comfortable than the other. I am only 5 feet! I weigh 118 (prior surgery). I think the garments just bunch up! I am so pleased with the results. I plan to post before and after pics soon. Yes, I have some swelling, mainly on the sides. My dr. said to expect swelling for weeks. He will do two accent treatments within the next 3 months. Let me know how you do over time.

{edited doctor contact information}. I believe he is the only Plastic Surgeon in N Alabama doing this. This is something that was very important to me. He has loads of experience and I am more happy each day. Hope this helps.
