Tomorrow is my scheduled surgery and I am excited and nervous. This is my first major surgery but I need it done. I am a prime candidate for a tummy tuck but I plan to have more children. I truly just wanted to reshape my body. I am hoping that this surgery helps me meet that desire. Wish me luck!

My procedure is finally complete. The worst part was the numbing. I was sensitive in my upper abdomen and by my ribs but the rest was fine. However, I made it! I'm hoping that I look great when this pain and swelling goes down. I've read that the day after surgery is the worst they definitely weren't lying. Im not sure how much fat was removed but im hoping it was a lot.

I made the big mistake of looking online and I've come across several videos of people saying that it was extremely painful just putting the fluid in and that they felt everything.... (I know everyone is different) but what was that like for you? How are you feeling today? Did you buy certain things to have post op? Is it hard to potty? Feeling weird or feeling pretty normal mentally? I have abdominal area on Monday and after that coming back in like 3 months or so for arms and back so I just really hope this first procedure goes well because I've already paid for it all lol. Sorry for all the questions I'm just panicked and nervous lmao but I wanted to hear someone else's real life experience! This site has been so helpful!

No you are perfectly fine. Every person is different and it also depends on your doctor. My doctor was honest with me in the beginning and stated he was more aggressive. Again, I only felt pain when the numbing went in and near my rib cage. I am still very sore and have difficulties getting in and out of bed(muscle stiffness, pain, bruising, any one of those) But I no longer need percocet. I now just take extra strength tylenol. I bought dog pads for my bed, so I didn't leak on my sheets postop. Arnicare gel for swelling and bruising to apply after I shower. I take vitamin c and my multivitamins, Sugar free Gatorade, soft foods like yogurt, applesauce, and fruits because I knew I had to eat before taking antibiotics and pain meds and I knew I would not have an appetite. Miralax as a stool softener to help with constipation. I have tons of pillows to elevate my legs and to be comfortable in bed. I tried to walk at least 5 minutes every time I got out of bed and I slept a lot. I did not get long periods of sleep but 2-3 hours. Again every one heals differently. I am 3 days postop and I am much better. I am currently in a binder with pads and I am not a fan. I get put in my faja next week and I'll update you on my progress. Oh and xanax helped me sleep the first 2 nights preop and I stopped watching videos and stayed off real self because I was getting anxious. Hope this helps and I hope I answered your questions. Good luck!

How is everything now? Are you happy?! Could we see pictures? Also, what was the total cost? I am looking at getting this done. You obvs don't have to answer. I have searched so many doctors. I wonder how people select theirs.

I had no complications, only nausea the first 2 days post op and of course pain which turned to severe discomfort. It is too soon for me to tell if i am happy with my results because it takes a awhile for the swelling to go down. I plan to post updated photos on Tuesday, which is a week postop. Im still sore and having difficulty sleeping as I like to sleep on my stomach and sides (the areas I got work done). The soreness is getting better day by day. I paid $6500 and believe it or not I found this doctor on Groupon. However, I did not consent to surgery until I went to numerous consultations and did my research. I selected my Dr initially based off of photos of individuals with the same body type as me, obtaining the results I wanted. Good luck!

The soreness and pain is still present. I feel the itching coming but the pain out weighs it. On a scale of 0-10, my pain is a 6. I feel it more when I lay down and try to get out of bed. I stopped draining 24 hours after surgery and I took my shower this morning. It is still too soon to say if I'm happy with my results. Fingers crossed I will be.
