In November 2019 I had smartlipo done by Dr. Miller on my hips, flanks and inner thighs. I wanted to get rid of my square hips, muffin top and pudgy inner thighs. I just wanted curvy silhouette and slimmer inner thighs and that is exactly what I got!
The procedure was done under local anesthesia and took approximately 3 1/2 hours. They played some music which was a nice distraction from the pressure of the probe. I didn't feel any pain during the actual procedure or at all until that night when the local wore off. After the procedure the nurse helped me into my garment and to recovery. I recommend bringing well fitting leggings as they will be needed to hold the pads in place over the incisions that will be leaking for the first 24 hours. I went through several pairs of leggings and poise pads, puppy pads and slept on a shower curtain liner as recommended. I felt pain about 8pm the night of my surgery and took Tylenol which did the trick. I only had minor bruising and swelling. I had 12 tiny incisions due to the multiple areas treated. They are barely noticeable months later. I was really surprised at how easy the recovery was in general. Really no pain or major swelling. I had some slight numbness in areas but it's going away weeks later. I did have a firming procedure as well and my skin in the areas looks perfect. No rippling or lumps. It's just perfect. The garments provided are the best! I still wear them 8 weeks after the procedure.

You look great how much time did u have to take off work?
2 days. I had very little pain or discomfort.

Very little bruising. I had 12 incisions but they are very small and unnoticeable.
I had a procedure with him in Oct...my results not what I expected....waiting until my 6 month mark to officially review so I can be fair
What areas did you have done?
Abdomen and flanks...he said my back wouldn't benefit...even though I have 3 rolls of fat :)
Are you happy with the areas treated? My friend wants her abdomen done and is considering Dr Miller after my experience. He told me in my post op that it would take several months for full recovery but that he makes sure his patients are happy with their results.

Most likely there is to much fat, and a different procedure is needed, from my knowledge(in general not this person) I have to a back lift, per my surgeon. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift but he said it need to be in 2 separate procedures. I got the front half down and eventually the back and underarms inner thighs. Body sculpting wouldn’t benefit me until after all the loose skin is gone.
