Journey to a Better Me ...

3-month progress
So it’s been 3 months (almost 4) since my procedure. I love my stomach but the back rolls don’t seem to have gone anywhere and I’m pretty down about that. Still they say it takes up to 6 months to see full results so I’ll wait patiently. I have absolutely no pain but still have nerve tingling. Supposedly the tingly can take up to a year to go away so I’m just dealing with it. I don’t see the doctor again until July. Maybe he will fix the back rolls. I know I just don’t have the funding to pay for it right now. So at this point do I think it was worth it? I would say yes 75%. If the back rolls looked better I would give it 90-95%. I’ll do my best to update if any changes come.

One month post-op
It’s been 1 month since my procedure and I’m still wondering if this was worth it. I love that I have no more belly fat (Yeah!!!), but I’m still so sore especially when I sleep or if the skin is pulled. I’m still a bit swollen still but it’s much better than a few weeks ago. I don’t really use any pain meds anymore; only when I really need it. I’m lumpy all over and I know that is common. I wear my compression garnet all day and only take it off when I go to bed. My skin is very dry on my abs so I try to massage with cream every night (or when I remember). I want the soreness to go away. I’m doing my best to eat right but working long hours makes it difficult at times. I don’t want to have done this in vain just to increase fat somewhere else. Let’s see how the next few months goes. I’ll try to update every month.

There is a difference in shape, keep going hopefully it will be worth it. I too am considering Lipo ( not sure which type). How you feeling now chick
I’m know I’m still early in the process so we will see what changes come over time. I’m now 1 month post-op and I’m still sore especially when I lay down or stretch the skin over the incisions. But every day gets a bit better.
