Smart lipo upper/lower body with Dr. falcone- follow thread for regular updates
Initial in Person Consultation with Dr. Falcone
My initial consultation was scheduled with Doctor Victoria Falcone.
She understood my problem about my saddlebags as my primary issue and she also recommended that I do my love handles and flanks because removing the saddlebags alone will not sort out the problem that I'm expecting to solve.
My main concern of saddle bags was taken very seriously and this is one of my biggest problem areas and I have suffered with this for a very long time, she understood this very well and use some personal examples to demonstrate that she knew what I was going through and this helped me immensely in making my decision.
Doctor observation during initial consultation :
She's incredibly knowledgeable and has been doing this since 2007 just during my consultation itself she demonstrated how she never resorts to using only one type of lipo technique and she's very open to trying multiple techniques at the same time and it's almost always set up in the operation area while working on patients.
I was examined in front of a full length mirror, she helped me visualize how things will be after it's done by showing me the areas that will be gone and having me see it on the mirror.
This was so helpful and really a great visual aid.
Her experience exclusively in lipo, her ability to understand my concerns & address them immediately and her openness with everything made me feel extremely comfortable with this doctor.
I personally feel a lot of cosmetic surgeons don't spend enough time and putting their patient at ease and everything about Dr falcon is the opposite of that she is very considerate, METHODICAL!, knowledgeable and most of all she addresses all your questions and makes you feel incredibly relaxed & confident so much so that I decided to also get my upper body done followed by the lower body, all with her and by the time I left the clinic, I had already made up my mind to go ahead with this.
Pre op 2 weeks prior - Feb 25th 2022
This was easily another hour of Doctor Falcone spending time with you and talking through things along with her stellar assistants and RN's in the clinic, who meet with you prior for paper work and any questions.
we discuss the areas which we have discussed prior and any other changes.
Instruction sheet of dos and donts are given : THIS IS VERY THOROUGH.
Weighed in,
Inbody scan done,
garment fitting happens,
blood work is requested,
prescriptions are given,
I am all set for the my appointment on March 10th !

Day of surgery March 10,2022 : saddle bags, flanks, hips , love handles and lower back
9 AM :
I am weighed in, taken to a room and photographed ( will get pics from the clinic , I was too nervous to click any on my phone ) with and without markings & also further discussing with Doctor Falcone if I had more questions and taken to the OR.
The procedure 930 AM :
Holy mother of God at some points it was intense ! BUT the other Doctor's ( thank you Loren and Lauren! You have seen me all sorts of naked now :)) and Doctor Falcone are such experts you could see this was a just a Thursday morning for her !
First there is numbing fluid ( BIG OUCH ) followed by fat liquifying and suction. The numbing probably the worst followed by my lower back fat suction.
This was a 2 1/2 hour procedure from start to finish and since it was local anesthesia that was used I was fully aware of what happened although I couldn't see it but internally and sometimes externally was letting out varying degrees of moans and yelps. Nothing they haven't seen before and throughout felt I was in best hands. I could feel the movement of the cannula at times.
Periodically the absorbent sheets they put under you will be soaking wet and will be changed this is the elimination of numbing fluid mixed with some blood ( drainage ).
Dr. Falcone is so present and talks in between as do the others, you are conscious enough for back n forth.
Once it's all done, while you are still somewhat numb the other Doctors present in the room(some really fine stellar people !) they massage the incision sites to drain anything they can and pad you up and pull the suit over you that you had been fitted for. The last part was quite difficult to cope with but I powered through and they make you as comfortable as possible.
Between the time of surgery being done and me in a suit and ready to go home was 45 mins.
Dr. Falcone talks to you again prior to leaving and you have some after care instructions and you take your super numb body back home. The ride will be bumpy and car seat lined with trash bags so I wasn't leaking all over.
