Slow and steady

WORTH IT
Just wanted to continue updating as I am approaching my 2 month mark in the next couple of weeks. I have noticed the swelling is continuing to go down and I am starting to shape a little bit more. I have been working out to my full capacity but have noticed it is different trying to do sit-ups again. I am slowly building back into doing those. My back doesn’t hurt anymore when I run, just a little tender afterwards. I have been doing a lot of squats to help with some of the fluid retention in my legs. I think my legs got a little bigger since my operation but nothing too crazy. I still wear my fajas daily and while sleeping at night. I tried to go down a smaller size but my hips are so wide it’s just not happening. Lol.

It is looking really good. How is it now?

It’s odd that the swelling is coming back here and there. I feel I am still feeling good but then I have my days that I feel really bloated again.

Couple of progress pictures from the one month mark. My stomach has its days that it fluctuates. Sometimes I feel like it’s flat and others I feel bloated. But I’ve been on the road traveling so I am sure the foods I’ve consumed are full of sodium. I’ve started back at the gym and can do full range of motion. After about 30 mins of running, my back is a little sore because that is where I had the most fat taken I think. Overall I feel great, I wear my faja 23 hours a day. It’s starting to get loose, but I don’t think I’m ready to go down another size yet. Overall I am still happy with the results

You look amazing! Thank you again for all your advice! You look like a different person!

You are going to be amazed by how your clothes start fitting. At first you will think that nothing is happening because you will feel bloated a lot!!!! But don’t let that make you lose focus, it’s a process and you will see that one day you look in the mirror and see the difference. Just be patient with the results and make sure to keep walking! It helps with the pain; walk as soon as the next day around the house. Movement helps the circulation. After the second week, start setting a new goal for yourself, whether that is to walk for a half mile and then gradually increase. Movement helps get rid of the fluid retention. This is your investment, treat it with the utmost respect that you will do your body right from now on. I still have my cheats, but I make sure to move even more. You too will be a brand new person, this will just recalibrate that you were beautiful all along! You got this!

Day 1 vs Day 14

bri14
You can see the transition from the day of operation to day 14. I am still swollen but it’s starting to feel better when I get up
To do things. I’ve also started back at the gym just walking and doing the elliptical. Becareful of your sodium intake, you will feel bloated and it makes you stretch out. I will post more at the first month. Just went down a size in my faja.

How are you recovering? Still like your results?

I am doing great! I was experiencing hardness around my lower abdomen and pubic area at first but after 5 lymphatic massages the hardness is gone. My lower abs still feel sensitive but I have been able to return to the gym. I can’t do situps just yet, but I’ve been able to walk, do the elliptical and some weights. I am still happy with the results, just hate when I get bloated because it makes me feel like I looked the way I did before. I started drinking ginger tea to help with inflammation. I have my good days and bad days but over all i still say it is worth it. I’ll post some updated pictures tomorrow. I did change into a different faja and so far so good, but I do look forward to more changes each month. Are you excited?

I am! I am nervous because I know it’s going to be a long process and feel I might get bored, but I’m excited to finally trying to get my baby stomach gone. I put in the work in the gym and my peloton just feel like nothing is working. I just hope I see results and it isn’t so painful.

I have my massages set up here in Katy Texas and just waiting for August 6. Thank you again for your comments. It’s great to hear from a real patient.

How are things going now bri? I’m getting nervous!
July 14, 2021
Things are good! Sorry for the delay in pictures. I’ve been on the road moving to a new state. The nerves are totally normal. I was so nervous and kept looking at reviews over and over. Lol. I am back in the gym, running again and lifting. No more issues with my back hurting when I sleep, although I’m still sore sometimes after working out in my lower back…(that’s where I had a lot of fat). I promise to post more pictures today. I feel so much better and my Fajas don’t fit as tight. You are going to want to get several so you can workout and change out when you sleep etc. I have 3 for now but need 2 more I think so I don’t have to wash everyday. I don’t take anymore meds and my stomach is less bloated. I still massage it because it can get hard at the end of the day from all the fluid build up. Feel free to ask me any questions!
