ZERO STARS: Misleading, Unethical, and Ineffective Treatment at Vedas Medical Spa
If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Chaitali Nangrani at Vedas Medical Spa engaged in misleading and unethical conduct, recommending an entirely ineffective "smart lipo" procedure for my protruding stomach and stretched skin.
Despite my clear desired outcome, she pushed smart lipo and countless Venus Freeze sessions, assuring me they were the solution. My stomach looked exactly the same, which was my first concern. Even more alarming, she suspected an abdominal hernia, yet assured me smart lipo was safe and wouldn't affect results. Subsequent consultations with multiple plastic surgeons confirmed I had Diastasis Recti, a condition only correctable by a full tummy tuck – a fact Dr. Nangrani never disclosed. They all agreed smart lipo was never an appropriate solution and, critically, is highly contraindicated if a hernia is suspected due to rupture risk.
Had I been properly informed about Diastasis Recti and its surgical solution, I would never have undergone smart lipo. Dr. Nangrani's failure to identify my true condition and her recommendation of an inappropriate procedure for profit is unacceptable.
DO NOT go to Vedas Medical Spa. Do your research and find a REAL, reliable plastic surgeon.
