Definitely more uncomfortable than painful. The garments really are a blessing. I took 1/2 off to wash it, and could feel the difference immediately. The binder is awkward, but it definitely helps. My public area has been the worst in terms of swelling, but that was expected. So far it’s been tolerable.

Oh my goodness. Thanks for the review. I too have swelling in the pubic area and was very concerned. Have you considered lymphatic massages? They work wonders. Day 5 I started feeling hardness in certain areas. You look awesome.

Why does the pubic area gets so swollen and can you do your own massages? I haven’t had a consult yet but my body is similar with a little less fat so I would really appreciate an answer.
You can do your own massages, I read reviews here where people bought self massagers on amazon and did it themselves. You'll be swollen basically every where. Bruising and swelling can spread in direction of gravity, i.e. down. So that's why pubic area gets swollen as well.
Thank you so much for sharing your information and clarification on the massaging you were a great help. The closest place to me is 60 miles away for lymphatic massage so I’ve been watching videos and listening to different plastic surgeons so that is very comforting news.
I was told that a lot of the fluid and drainage goes down there.
If you don't mind me asking what time did you have your procedure? I had mine done the same day as well with Dr.carreon.
I was wondering about the pubic swelling as well. Finally going down after massages and cavitation sessions.

So far on day 4 post op (surgery done 02/05/20) but I can already see my figure coming in! It's been uncomfortable, but worth it so far! I got my upper/lower abdomen, waist, pubic, and bra rolls done for round one. I go back 03/04/2020 for my arms and upset back.
