4 weeks From Surgery
WORTH IT$6,285
Today was a rough day. I am 4 weeks from surgery and although the pain has decreased, I feel like I am looking a lot less smaller. Not sure if it’s in my head but wearing the compression garment for about 18 hours a day now and when I do not have it on, it feels as if my stomach is loosening and starting to look flabby again. Not sure if this is the process but I’m gonna keep believing that it will get better.

I went in for a consult in June of 2020 for a smart lipo procedure to remove fat from my upper and lower abdomen and love handles. I met with a really nice lady named Rosanne, who was very personable and did not come off as "Salesy". After she explained that I would be a good fit for the procedure, she began to explain the pricing and the procedure, including the pain levels and downtime. I would say that Rosanne was not very realistic with stating that you can have the surgery on a Friday and be back to work on Monday. Thank God that I was off work at the time, because I would not have been able to return to work for a couple of weeks. Not only was the drainage extreme, but it lasted for days, along with pain that was beyond what Rosanne described it would be. She stated that it would feel like you had a hard workout. After effects of a hard workout are NOTHING like this pain. However, once I got into my 3rd week of healing, not only did the pain, soreness and drainage all subside, but results were miraculous! On the second day, when I had to remove my compression garment, my entire upper abdomen was FLAT. I am not a very patient person, so I wanted results immediately and even though, I am now entering my 4 week, and I am not where I want to be, I am ecstatic of the progress. I cannot wait to reach my 8th week, which is where the optimal results will be seen. One piece of advice, is if you get this surgery, make sure you wear your compression garment as long as you can. They recommend 24/7 for 2 weeks straight and then 12 hours each day for the next few weeks. I have worn my garment 24/7 for the entire first 3 weeks and still planning to do the same in my fourth week. I want the best results possible~ Good luck!
