3 months post-op

WORTH IT$2,800
Down to 14-1/8” and wearing my compression garment most of the time still because I believe it’s helping A LOT with the skin tightening. I see Dr. Berman again Monday 4/16 for my next follow up. And of course I’m super excited because improvements should continue through 6 months!

One month update

It’s officially been one month and I’m still enjoying the progress. It hasn’t been dramatic but I’m excited that there’s still about 5 months left of progress to make. Some other notes:
-I still wear my compression garment all the time except in the shower
-There’ are still a couple of lumps in each arm that are slightly painful but much improved
-I measured this morning and have lost about another 1/4 inch in each arm!! Soooo glad I’ve been measuring. It would be difficult to know the progress without it.
No pictures today but I will do them from time-to-time since there won’t be any dramatic changes anymore.
That’s it for now. I’ll plan to do another update in a month.

I am considering doing arm lipo with Dr Berman. Are you happy with the overall symmetry and amount of fat removed from each arm? I am concerned that the arms look natural and symmetrical, no lumps. How are your lumps progressing?
PS. Congrats on the weight loss!
Hi there! I am very happy so far but the entire process lasts about 6 months to see full results. my arms are pretty symmetrical; they were off maybe a quarter of an inch when I measured on Feb 12. I am measuring and doing updates on the 12th of every month. I don’t see any point in measuring more frequently than that. I am very happy with the amount of fat removal. Dr. Berman removed a lot and of course the rest will be released over the next few months. If he had pulled much more out of my arms, then the skin would have been way too loose. I am keeping the compression garment on all the time for 3 months straight to help with the loose skin now. As far as the lumps, there had been A LOT of progress over the last week. I’ve been massaging and I’d say the pain and the lumps are nearly gone - maybe a couple more weeks and I’ll be back to normal. Let me know if this answers your questions or if I can help anymore. And like I said, I’ll do another update on the 12th after my next measurement.
THANK YOU! for the quick response. Out of the 3 doctors I consulted with, I was most impressed with Dr. Berman. Still a little on the fence about having the surgery but your experience and updates have definitely helped in my decision making process! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing tour journey. Im getting bbl and one of the areas being harvested for fatbare my gigantic arms. Very scared of how painful it would be as i have a 3 year old son who loves to cuddle and be carried. Happy healing!
There is definitely pain but think of it more like serious bruising for a few weeks. If you don’t touch it, then it isn’t that bad and wearing the compression garment protects you from some of that pain. I didn’t take any of the pain medication I was prescribed because I didn’t need it. just teach your 3 year old to be careful and gentle with you for a while and you’ll be fine. It’ll also be a good lesson for him! Good luck. As far as your arms, I don’t think you have any reason to be scared at all. :)
Thank you for the quick reply. That was very helpful. : ) can’t wait to see your progress.

2 week visit

Love Dr. Berman’s Office. They were all very excited that I’ve had good results so far. Dr. Berman recommended that (at my age) wear the compression garment for 3 months to get the best results. I am also supposed to start massaging my arms and Dr. Berman believes my skin will tighten more as well. He was also impressed with my weight loss! His scale showed a 12 lb weight loss since I was there about 5 weeks ago.

They were all also happy to hear that I’ve lost 1.5 inches in each arm and that I will still have more improvements over the next 5-6 months.

Dr. Berman’s Office has also offered me a free microdermabrasion that I will be taking advantage of in a couple of weeks. I may do a review on that as well.
