Update #2

WORTH IT$6,773
I’m sooo thrilled with my results so far, I decided to go back and get more Smart Lipo, on my inner thighs and posterior thighs! I was given a surgery date of 20 October, but when I went in for the pre-op appointment, there was a cancellation, so I got moved up to the 10th! Yay!!
The procedure was mostly pretty comfortable, like the first one. After it was over, they got me into my compression garment and I walked to my car unassisted. The recovery process over the next two weeks was more painful than my first surgery, I’ll be honest, but certainly bearable. I again stopped taking the pain meds after three days, and that’s pretty much where I am now. I’ll post before and after pictures as soon as I get them from the office. As far as the results from my 360 + outer thighs, I love how I’m coming along in most areas, but I’m a bit concerned about my stomach. I’m not sure if it’s the normal lumps and bumps or something else like maybe some fat that needs removal. My doctor has been keeping an eye on it, and my next follow-up is the beginning of December. Another update soon.

Update #1

Hey! So, my one week and one month follow-ups went great. The doctor said I was healing well, and the bruising didn’t last very long. Of course, I was taking Arnica since just before the surgery. My scars look good so far. Here are my first post-op photos. I love my results so far, and they’re only going to get better!!! I have a few lumps and bumps, but I’ve had 3 lymphatic drainage massages and they really help.

ORIGINAL POST

My Smart Lipo 360* + Outer Thighs-Was It Worth It?...Yesssssss!!!!!!!!

Hi! It’s taken me some time to write this review, as I had Smart Lipo 360(upper/lower abs, upper/lower back, and love handles) + outer thighs on 21 August, 2020. However, I’ll start at the beginning, and include before and after pictures as I progress. I had my consultation at LA Lipo Centers with Dr. Robert. He put me right at ease, was super nice and totally realistic as to what I could expect. He then quoted me a price, and the price was right! I booked the surgery date and paid my deposit on the spot. I was told that if I didn’t mind having one of the other doctors perform my surgery, I could have it done very soon, like three weeks. Too excited to wait, I went for it! My pre-op went smoothly, I paid the balance, and finally surgery day was here! From the moment I walked in, I was put at ease. First Kate and Genney up front were super nice, helpful and calming. Next I met my nurse, Annika, and she was awesome! I don’t think she left my side until it was over and I left! She answered every question I had and was on top of making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Finally, I met Dr. Dinh Nguyen. I couldn’t have asked for a doctor with a better bedside manner, he was warm and kind, but also completely professional. After we talked and he marked me up, I had complete confidence that he knew exactly what I wanted, and could deliver it. During the surgery itself, I barely felt the anesthesia “pinpricks”, the only time I felt any kind of pain was right towards the end, when perhaps the anesthesia was wearing off(?), but Dr. Dinh immediately stopped and gave me more, then made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. Then, before I knew it, it was over! Dr. Dinh gave me his personal cell number just in case, I got right up and into my compression garment, and Annika accompanied me down to the car which I was able to walk to without needing assistance. The car ride home was a breeze, and I got a good night’s sleep that night. I stopped leaking (no drains, no stitches) after about 24 hours, and stopped taking the pain pills after three days. Okay, my next post will be about my first follow-up. :)

Love to see some after pics! Hey what's the difference between "smart lipo" and regular "lipo"? Can't wait read/see your update. Take care.
Hi! Smart Lipo is where they use a laser to melt the fat and also tighten the skin. I’ll post some “after” pics today. Thanks!
Hmm...I've heard others mention it in their reviews but I wasn't familiar with it. Are you under local anesthesia and/or twilight sedation for the procedure? Thanks for telling me about that. I like to learn new things all the time. Can't wait to see your after pics!! Take care. :-)
Totally awake!! They use local anesthesia, and you take a pain pill and a Valium before the procedure. It was great! Pics soon!!! :)
