Gastric Sleeved

Hi I had a Gastric sleeve done I went through my insurance to get it covered. I had no real payments except coinsurance. It did cost about 10-15 k according o my EOB. But My surgeon was Dr. Negal great doctor great staff and facility Northwestern Memorial Hospital . In the heart of downtown great views. Before surgery I had to complete psy eval, nutrition classes, lots of test and checks before surgery. Check in was fast for the hospital day of surgery . I staying in hospital 3 days following the diet restrictions given no complications with surgery. One thing I can say is listen when they say don't drink water or whatever they will push ur surgery back for the littlest things. Don't sleep on your stomach after I kept opening my wound and waking up in blood when I thought the incision was close and it wasn't . But I follow my vitiams and diet plan and I have been great my wound was opening like when I was 3 weeks out but it close on its own went to ER didn't need to be restiched it just close on it on all my scaring is now not that visable except the big one in the middle but I love it I'm 2 months out and I have lost 50 lbs so far I'm loving it . I think if u have a bad relationship with food this is a great tool to get you on track in the Pic with the bandage I Had just had the surgery
