6 months post-op, down 43lbs
I feel great! I am down 43 lbs six months post-op and plan to lose 20 more by my one year mark. I occasionally eat too much and have to throw up, but for the most part, I’ve learned how much I’m able to eat and take time to enjoy my food. I could probably drink more water, but not drinking enough water has always been a problem for me. I haven’t had any soda and I’m ok with it! My skin is better, my clothes fit better, I’m outside more. Best decision.

The dreaded “stall”
So the last two days I have not lost any weight. NONE. I know, I’m not supposed to be weighing myself everyday, but it has been such an awesome motivator and validates the amount of money spent. I know I’ll get through this stall, I know and track what I’m eating, but still... I’m not losing!
Today I upped my water intake and have been using the bathroom more. Hopefully I’ll come out of the stall sooner than later.

how’s the turn out now? how long did the stall last for? I’m in a similar oat with my weight hitting the 180’s. I’m almost 3 weeks post op and have noticed the 2 week stall. I too have been weighing myself every morning even though I know I shouldn’t!
How are you going now? Can I ask what your height is or starting BMI? I am same weight and considering it but unsure if it’s worth it for not a large amount of weight that might come off (praying it is)
I’m 5’-3” and started at 183 lbs. Im down to 140 lbs now and at another stall. Im 6 months post op and most say I will lose about another 20lbs by the time I hit my year post op mark which will be perfect!
