1 year P.O.
One year further, I'm at 64 kg, which is a loss of 16 kg in total.
I'm still glad I did it, and now in 3 days I'm getting a tummy tuck with liposuction (I'm making a whole separate review on that) to cut away the extra skin and fat and hopefully end up with a flat stomach.
I hope this review has helped out here out! I don't think I'll be updating it anymore ;)

Hi everyone!
Updating again, to continue to document this process.
I'm still at 66 kg, remaining stable in that front. I am still not eating as healthy as I could, and pretty much eating what I feel my body asks of me; sometimes it's sweet stuff, sometimes savory... I do try to keep things in balance but I'm sure I would have lost more weight if I actually put more effort into it!
In any case, and as I said in the past, I am happy with the fact that there's this weight off my shoulders when it comes to mental struggles and body weight struggles. I do feel more free now to eat whatever I want because I know I will feel filled up and won't over eat. You can physically see the difference, and I do feel a bit of difference as well. I don't regret this decision )
My hair loss has somewhat stopped (yay!) so that's good news.
I have attatched never seen before pictures of me BEFORE the operation... I had never dared to share them because I was so embarrassed ( But now they are a good reminder of how far I've come, and I embrace them. The angles are not quite exactly the same, but you do get a clear idea. My apologies for always having such a serious face, I promise that in my normal day to day I smile more!
I really hope this helps someone out there to see "real" results of such an operation. I still have a long road ahead and I still want to do a tummy tuck, but for now I am happy with how far I've come! D

What an amazing journey!! Thank you for sharing. Don't know why I didn't see your previous posts until now. I thought you just stopped posting. It is so important to be truthful, and I feel like you have. In fact, I can relate! I've done a few surgeries, my last one ,which should have been my first ( sleeve). You've done great!!! Keep it up! I know it gets difficult but your story keeps us motivated.
Looking forward to future posts.

Hi again!
I'm updating to say that since around 2 weeks I've been having A LOT of hairloss :( I'm adding a picture of it after a shower, it's pretty much representative of how it is almost every day. I knew this could be a side effect of the sleeve gastrectomy, but since more than 3 months had passed I thought I was on the clear... But I was wrong!
Also, my total weight loss has only been 14 kg so far (~31 lb), which I'm not super thrilled about either. I am happy that even while confined and eating mostly comfort food I am losing (or at least not gaining) weight, but I was told to expect up to 30 kg off (66 lb) so I was hoping to have been further on with it.
Do I regret this surgery? No, I'm still happy I went through it and I feel in the long run it will definitely help me keep a somewhat healthy weight, without feeling hungry and making it "natural" to me. I just wish it had more of an effect on me like it seems to have on others :(

Hi Saris, my name is Mari. You have just surprised me that you are still losing hair. First of all, I never knew that happened. THat explains my baldness ( various cosmetic surgeries). But I immediately started chewing Biotin gummies 10,000 mg daily. And I massage my scalp. Even my teeth were starting to hurt. I've read that lack of protein consumption also has a great role in hair and muscle loss. I've been drinking Premier Protein. Each shake has 30 grams protein and only 1 g of sugar. Try to use a protein calculator to determine how much protein you need daily. Good luck. Stay in touch :)
