Two year

Two years now.
Not much has changed from my one year.Tight in my midsection. Numbness decreased a little. Scaring is fading well. When I eat I always feel full and bloated. It not a pleasant feeling. But have not lost extra weight even though I can’t eat as much, must be the the sugar/sweets my downfall.
I am very happy I don’t have the waist bulge. I’m a lot more confident.

13 month up date ????

My one year anniversary has come and gone I now feel better about my body. I have a waist line! Still numb around the scar area. Scar fading very slowly but very visible. My abs get tight and sore after workouts or picking up stuff. I did a lot of yard work which consisted of shoveling and picking up heavy rocks over the summer and was quite sore I have to pace myself do a little work daily.
I get full really quick when I eat. It feels like I’m always stuffed when I eat anything. Which is a good thing maybe.
My lower chest below my boobs right above my stomach is puffy if I wear a tighter shirt it’s noticeable. (Same as picture with orange tank)
My belly button scar is kind of crappie but if I hold my abs in it’s not as noticeable. I don’t wear a two piece anyway.
My health has been excellent. No other issues with clotting incident after my surgery. I took my blood thinners as directed.
Overall I’m extremely happy with my choice. Sometimes I feel it was selfish act, when I see others with health issues or heavy people being content with their body. I gained 5lbs but I’m very active not to worried about it. I think it went to my butt and hips.
I also wonder if there is going to be some side effects in the future.? But for now I live. I live for today.

12 week post update -So far so good

12 weeks! Good day everyone ?? ?? Snowy day here in the Rockies. ???
Feeling awesome -the only thing I'm feeling is some tightness when I sit for to long. (Like at the movies). No swelling. I had a soda pop the other day as a treat, had some bloating upper abs ugh. Cocktails don't effect much. Lol & controlling consumption?

Swimming daily has helped tremendously with stretching my waist and abs - my whole body. The tightness below my scar line has lessened. I also do water lunges and squats. My arms are getting stronger and shaping up. Started water excerice at 4 weeks post increasing as weeks go by. When I started water exercise I couldn't do the regular over arm swim ???? because of tightness I can now.
Feels great to stretch and elongate torso.
It also helps that I live 15 yards from pool. Then theres the treadmill at least 3 miles on and another 2 just walking through my daily life. My goal is 6 days a week. (I have to get over there right now. so easy to gain weight, and need to lose it & keep in control, at 138-140 been through to much to get to this point in my life. It's within my reach. Gonnadoit ????
The first week of my retirement has past, today I feel blessed. I'm excited for my long awaited
3 mo.out of country sunny vacation in a week.-
Spring & Summer is around the corner, new life to come.
